I am and I find it interesting how many of the same people I see on in the AM. So, how many of you just can't sleep and how many have a goofy work schedule?
So do us late night/early morning junkies need our own subforum or what??
Hi Bradsmith and all other insomniacs.
Very good Idea about having this thread, and possibly a subforum. Brad you are correct, I see you and most others posting around the same time I am.
ever since I was in the military a hundred years or so ago it seems that I haven't been able to sleep.
while on a ship my schedule was two days on and three off, followed by 3 on two off.
And when you were on duty , you were on for the full 72 or 48 hours.
And since 93 when I broke my neck and the many injuries since then have really kicked it into high gear, as my pain is the general cause of my inability to get comfortable in bed.
I was on the entire pharma list of stuff through the years to get some sleep. It really used to bug me, but I have come to terms with the fact that I get about two hours of sleep a night if I'm lucky.
I don't take the meds much anymore (no
sense polluting the kidneys my wife may need soon just to try to get a few more minutes in.
I guess stress is another major cause of my insomnia.
my wife's recent diagnoses of her kidneys begining to fail is one of them.
and then there is quite a few others we can get into once we all get to know each other better.
So thank you for this thread.
I'm in washington state pst, and I'm usually up till at least 3;00 in the morning here most days. Last night(or yesterday morning now) it was 6;00 till I made it to bed. and I was up by 8:00 a.m.
I pretty much work for myself with several businesses, so I have a lot of hours I have to cover for all of them.
well that's me to make a long story longer
Blessings
