I'm not sure if this is the right thread to post this under, but I see that several people have had the same issue and they posted it here so I will join in, if nothing else to show that it is a problem. After hearing so many great things about Bloog and their products I decided to buy a batt and some blank cartos on March 15th. I also read somewhere how fast their shipping times were. So after 6 days of NOTHING I decided to contact CS. I was informed, like everyone else, that they are "out of stock". That isn't what bothered me so much (besides the fact that still today the batt I ordered is not listed as "out of stock" on their website). What made me angry is that they never informed me, nor did I read anywhere on their site to expect delays. I came home everyday thinking it would be in the mail and I had to contact them and ask them why it hadn't even been shipped. Before contacting them I made sure to scour their website looking for an explination. I'm still new to all of this but this is definitely the most disappointed I've been in any company I've dealt with (regarding ecigs of course). This is sort of a shipping/tracking issue seeing as my issue is that my order hasn't shipped (understandable seeing as they don't have the product). I'm just hoping the product is as great as everyone says it is and it's worth the wait.

Like I said, I just wanted to chime in and let bloog reps know that there are several people having issues (not that they aren't aware, I'm sure they are).

It seems like most issues revolve around blanks and PCCs. If one of those are part of the order, the whole order is messed up. But when it is just a battery and/or prefilled cartos, it comes lickety split. I agree you should have been told what the hold up was about without having to ask. But now Red has joined the CS team this week, so hopefully things will improve in that regard.

Hey, is anyone manning the sales or CS phones? My friend has been calling the lines since last wednesday trying to order and has gotten a voicemail everytime (he's left two with no response). I had ordered over the phone the week before and there was products you had in stock that were yet to be listed on the site, in fact the only reason I have my green bloog batt is because I called. This is why he's been hesitant to place a site order, he's worried it's simply not going to be processed and shipped as no one seems to be picking up the phones (The other fact is, the place it shipped from is only 1 and a half hours away and if they would allow him to go there and pick it up then he would rather do that then pay more for shipping than on gas to get it slower than if he had driven).

Bloog Order#022771
Placed the order over the weekend.
Got a confirmation the order was recieved..
Kinda expected it to be shipped, no notification if it was. Is that reasonable to expect, I mean would it normally ship today or would it be normal for the shipping and tracking notification to come say tuesday or wednesday?

Idk, I am honestly just asking not bieng a smart ....
I would think the order would ship today but what do I know?
Don't get me wrong I am not complaining or concerned or upset. Just thought I would ask and see in case I should be worried lol!

Since Leaford is in China, he could take a few pointers from one of the thousands of chinese e-sellers. They manage to ship products to everywere at very low costs (sometimes even 0 cost to the buyer) and are very good at avoiding customs charges for their customers.
Just my 2cts.

There should be USPS options to the rest of the world.
It takes more time, but it has other advantages.
If other suppliers offer the option, so should Bloog.
Even worse for non-US buyers: FEDEX is absolutely the worst service one could choose in order to avoid customs charges. EVERYTHING will go through customs.

I just emailed cs, asking bout these things... looking at a globe it depends on witch way china sends it... on a globe its about same length china to US, as it is china to DK, the other direction..
Just hire a chinese person to send out stuff from a chinese Bloog department....

Not so easy as it sounds. We'd also need the additional stock, and a warehouse/shipping center. (Factories here do not keep extra stock, they make it to order and ship it out. I can't even get extra items for myself unless they happen to have extra supplies left over, let alone get a starter kit and assorted cartos or whatever to fill an individual order.) Plus of course all the necessary supplies, computers and printers for order processing, etc, etc, etc. So, we'd have to set up basically a duplicate of the operation we have in NJ.

I mean, it's not impossible, but it would require some investment, and that wouldn't be a trivial cost, either in terms of money or effort and time, and it's not a realistic investment at this time.

And one more thing I should mention. When it comes to duties and customs, you two do realize that you are asking us to break the law, don't you? Technically, underdeclaring is evasion of duties, equivalent to smuggling. I mean, we aren't the ones at risk of being fined (or jailed technically, but of course it would never come to that) if we're caught, you are. But we'd be technically as much culpable as you, we're just out of the jurisdiction. And they could always ban us (or whatever the legal term is) from importing if we were caught. It's one thing for a couple orders for you guys, who are our friends. Especially when it comes to warranty replacements, where there's no reason you should have to pay the duties again. But it's quite another thing when you're talking about a regular policy. So, if we were to open a China shipping center to make shipping to EU easier, we'd still have to abide by proper declarations if we didn't want to risk our investment, so it wouldn't get you around customs or duties.

You guys need a EU distributor. But just like setting up China shipping, it's just not realistic to expect US to set one up on our own. We're too small for that investment. We need an EU business, or someone who wants to start one, to contact us and set up a deal. We just can't do it by ourselves.

My suggestion is, contact your favorite EU supplier and lobby them to start distributing for us. I'd see that as a more likely way to get the result you want.

I spent most of friday returning voicemails so I am sure he heard from me. Plus the second blue batt is actually the green batt.

I'm really not trying to be rude, but not only has he not heard from anyone at Bloog..no one has been picking up your customer service or sales lines since last wednesday(Both of us have called each day several times to receive voicemails). Is this really the type of customer service I should be subjecting him to? Sure the product is great, but you guys have probably the worst IT guy in the world (Honestly, as a computer programmer I can tell everyone it does not take 5 or 10 minutes to fix having an incorrect image link - more like 10 seconds, and new website or not you guys should realize as a business it's unappealing to the consumer to see this) and making personal contact with you guys has seemed to be all but impossible this past week. I just don't understand why a week before people were attentively handling my calls and a week later they're simply not there? I know this is a little harsh but he's getting to the point where he's thinking about not quitting the analogs simply because he doesn't want to buy inferior product and this seriously upsets me.

I know most of you will look at this and say "how hard is it to use a website to order?" So i'll reiterate that where Bloog ships from is so close to our residence that we would spend more on shipping then on gas to get the product at a slower rate (I did 2 day shipping for 23 bucks..the place is freakin an hour away). This is why he's vigorously been trying to get a sales rep on the line, to see if he can save a couple bucks and get his e-cig ASAP.

If you offer 9AM-5PM Monday-Friday sales/customer service lines, you should have people manning those lines during those allotted times - plain and simple. And if you're going to offer a green battery, you should have a green battery picture under it(In fact i'm pretty sure the only way the ECF community would know what the green battery looks like is if they found the link I posted of it, or ordered it themselves). Again, I apologize if anyone feels this was too critical but I disagree.

I do know.. And have talked to a danish one, who promised to look at it, a long time ago. Never heard back... EU vendors dont like the hype n hoopla made here.. ANd they wouldnt want to be like an affiliate, if thats what your thinking of doin. And wouldnt they also be chased by customs? Does bloog pay taxes when you get stuff in? Its the getting stuff from US thats a prob... most dont have a prob when getting stuff sent from China...Maybe it IS just because they write maxvalue10dollars, i dunno...

Some do. They set up a "trading company" and when customs twigs to them, they change the trading company name to evade them. That's China. But, that's neither how I want to do business, nor a helpful practice for a small business trying to build brand identity.
