I got this thing friday and had some time with it. It is amazing, battery life is crazy compared to the greensmoke i used. I have projuice after shock i am getting a lot of taste and vapor. Great device. Only thing i notice is the cartomizer seems like it runs dry fast, sometimes has a burnt taste. I keep adding liquid, then its fantastic again. At 4.0-4.2 is where i am normally. If i buy boges will it be the same? I am sure its something i am doing wrong. I tried this condom method of filling, it helps, but i still have to drip more. Would a syringe be better? I am ordering a tank or some boges cartos today. I just can,t make my mind up on what tank is best, or best place to get cartos. If anyone can direct me somewhere, i would appreciate it. Also i ordered some more liquid from vape dudes 50/50 mix, hopefully less irritation.

I am far from being a veteran vaper but my 2-month experience tells me that YES, a syringe will be way better than the condom method. I think you will also benefit from having a tank to avoid the dryness of the cartos but I have yet to have a setup like this myself.

Congrats on your Provari, they are great devices. Heather and I both use them. Drip refilling a carto is a major pain. When vaping just cartos, the condom method is what we use to refill if you run it really dry. I'm not a huge fan of carrying around syringes, although they work great. Your on the right track with getting a tank. Fill it in the morning a vape all day!

What carto are you using on your provari- ohms, single or dual coil?
Dual coil cartos use alot more juice and drain your battery twice as fast. Even with all that they are my go to carto because I have never got a burnt taste on one regardless of my provari setting. I typically use a 2.0 dual coil set at 5.3V. I also use a tank which keeps your carto wet so your not having to keep adding juice.
I also use 3.0ohm Boges. But, unless you have your carto in a tank you are going to have to keep refilling it to prevent the burn.

Congrats on your new purchase! I've recently been researching and looking into a ProVari for myself. I second the motion of going for a tank. It may be the easiest solution for not running out of juice all the time. Especially on a big battery mod where you're vaping at higher than normal volts and such. I got one when I got my first big battery mod, awesome cheap investment

Yes cartos take topping off frequently because the Provari will suck juice and do a better job of vaporizing it all. Tanks do help, I am new to tanks but so far I like them. Next I am going to try and punch my own cartos for the 3 ohm Boge. Right now I am using a DC double coil LR carto pre punched and I am not crazy about it, I can only vape it a low volts and it does not last long. bnrk

Just got my Provari V2 three weeks ago and it's fantastic. Works like a charm. I've had one E1 error (lowered the voltage and it went away); one OP error when I checked the Atomizer Ohms (threw that carto away). So I feel reassured that the Provari's doing its job.

I first check the AO of whatever I put on the Provari, to see what the resistance is. I multiply that resistance by 2.5 (somebody on ECF with more technical knowledge than I have suggested that) to find out the safe "high" voltage for that atomizer.

The Provari came with the voltage set to 4.0. My kGo is 3.7, so that's a safe voltage (though not necessarily optimal) for anything.

In addition to everything else I love about it, the Provari has helped me quickly determine which combinations of cartos, tanks, ohms, voltages and juices I like best . . . and to eliminate everything else, instead of wondering if a particular juice might taste better on some other device, in some other cart with some other resistance, at some other voltage, etc.

I definitely prefer tanks, single-coil 3.0 carts, probably followed by Stardusts.

I've been vaping awhile and the Provari finally lets me feel like I'm getting the best, most consistent and reliable quality vaping experience that I can.

Enjoy!

Tanks are great, especially when paired with Boges and a Provari. My current setup is a Provari V2 with a Lil' Mama' tank from Big Daddy Vapor - For the love of vapin'. They have great tanks at decent prices. And a polycarbonite tank with stainless end caps is beautiful on my Provari. They sell the cartos to go with it to, and at a decent enough price that you can stock up on them. I use 2.8ohm Boges, and run at around 5 volts. Doesn't get any better. Now I just need to find the perfect juice.

The tank will solve your issues for sure! I love my Provari, but my Liquinator tank is the best! I buy 50 Boge cartos for $59.00 from Vaporbeast with free shipping, so at that price I don't mind keeping my cartos fresh! They do seem to last longer when using with my tank, everything stays wet so the burnt taste does not present itself!

I don't even know how people could stand vaping before tanks came in to the picture. I even keep backup tanks that are still in the package. A tank will change your vaping life for the better. You don't even have to go all out. The one Provape sells works great for like 13 bux. I use 80 PG 20VG and I buy the 3 hole prepunched smoketechs. They work flawlessly in my cheap tanks.
