Just reading a post from neo at easy vap forum:

They found new problems at the first produced units:

Theres an open space between the IC and the contacts who could cause problems.
The conection between the head and the conector is not stable.
The spring for the battery is not long enough.
The switch is not fixed properly.

So they think its just minor problems but it will cost them an aditional 4 or 5 days to be fixed.

AHA! I knew someone got the exclusive rights to sell this mod in the US. LOL I can't wait to give it a shot. I heard through the grapevine it was coming out around the 20th of Oct., anyone know if this is true?

AFAIK Volcano will be selling them first half of November.

They will have the exclusive rights to sell them under the name "Lavatube" and the color sheme red and black, proper to volcano.

Untill now volcano never gave any details about what makes theirs diferent to the others, so at this time it is just a rebranded unit.

These are made by L-Rider which will be happy to sell them to the US market with their brand and colors and at their prices. So you better keep an eye on that.

Volcano needs a bigger stock then a internet seller. They sell by kiosks, and other fisical shops where they have to be present. They must make money on it, and the retailer as well. So what have we got here.

Bigger overhead, more people implicated that all have to make money on it.

Otherwise, we in Europe have higher taxes, customs etc. Then these are sold by a web site, less stock, less overhead.

Then you could make a coop and order 10 sets from China, and have them for 30~$ each.

Got this morning a mesage from L Rider. They inform that in 7 days they will be readdy to ship new orders.
So this means before that they will have shipped the pre orders, and have enough stock to ship new orders.
They also list the production specifications:

It was impossible to get any information from the Chinese about shipping before the weekend. So even if they produce them this weekend, untill monday or thuesday they will not be shipped I supose.

Anyway during next week they should be on their way to us.

Goodie for the pre-orders. Will they really be able to ship new orders in a week? Well, maybe... After things are done, it becomes easier. Still, they'll have to wait to see if we all find it's a "Provari" as they mistakenly state...

a guy posted a link to a place in canada that says they have them. canvape .com the link takes you to a site knot the real canvape. I finally was able to get an email thing to work and the guy that emailed me bac says he does not sell them or know anything about the site and asked where I got his contact info. after emailing him the site he contacted their webhost and now the site is closed for repairs. something smells fishy or its a big mix up. but watchout. Al

Thats very easy. Buy it from a vendor that is known to be existing and has a reputation, and not from somebody nobody ever heard from. If in doubt, ask some of the forum members.

Well, still no news from Yovapeo. These Chinese are killing me, one really needs a whole lot of patience!

In the meantime, I know that in the Volcano forums they said they'd have the device in early to mid-November...
