frannie, it was bad enough having a contest saddled on us with a yearlong commitment and rules and regulations. prevets MUST attend the avi parties during their exact turning time! did anybody consider that committee members have to be available for that? i had nightmares of a prevet showing up with none of us online. i dropped things i HAD to do to make sure that didn't happen. i know of at least 2 other members who did the same.
and the originator of the idea couldn't have cared less........ no more for me

It's particularly difficult for us on the West Coast--sometimes I'm the only person here late. And I have to leave whatever I'm doing because I know that there is NOBODY else online...

i know, tweety - idk about you, but i don't need that kind of pressure, especially if it was forced on me and not of my own doing. for whis' and pvt's sake i put up with it. i love that thread! but the events of the last few days have killed it for me ......

not sure I am supposed to be in here. I will leave if you like. I want to cause no trouble, just want to offer to help, which is all I have done before. I have a bad feeling something is going on, but I don't exactly know what. Just know that I am here. I am not a vet, so my services are somewhat limited. STill I am here, if you need me.

On the other hand, Tibs, Whiskey DID announce that she was stepping down--in this very thread. That announcement might have caused some confusion and prompted other PVT members to try to find solutions. I know it upset and confused me.

Anyway, I'm still waiting for Whiskey's return and her final word on the subject. I'll make my decision based on what she says.

Thank, Morri... long story. Nothing much to be done ATM. We're not sure what is going on either--all we can do now is wait for a few more hours....
