Precise ELA batteries

I’m SURE there’s places this basic question is up already on this insanely huge forum…just as I’m SURE there’s 100s of different opinions. But since the ELA is gonna be my first high quality mod and many of us are getting it at once…

and because I’m sure you people have more knowledge than I do lol

What batteries are YOU planning on running for your ELA? I was thinking of 3-4 different sizes…but I’d like to hear what yall are planning.

well i have 18650s and 18350s on hand so i'll be using those. i kind of want to get 18500s because the 350s doesn't last as long as i'd like when i'm out and about.

right now i have some Ultrafire 18500 1600maH ICR Protected batteries from my Bolt...but i think the GF is gonna steal them when she gets the Bolts. so i needs to find new ones...

18650: Panasonic CGR 18650CH, Panasonic NCR18659PD, AW IMR 18650, MNKE20

Make sure you pick from that list if you want the best. And safest.

Avoid anything with "fire" in the name.

there are only 2 models of batteries that I use since I run really low ohm coils.

AW 18650 1600mah (24 amp limit)
MNKE 18650 1300mah model-f (30 amp limit)

18650 Efest Hybrid 2250 (4 in rotation)
18650 Efest 2000 (4 in rotation)
18500 Efest 1100

now...if i use the crown with the ELA, battery size still doen't matter, except for life of charge, correct?

With the Crown or Kick in there, the ELA will take the 18350 or 18500. If you want to run the Kick or Crown with the 18650 battery, due to the additional length the crown and kick adds, you will need the optional longer 18650 Kick/Crown tube.
