Yes, we've been considering some Ti accents when we have a bit of open time.

As you know David... I always run my ELA in 18490/Kicked configuration and the longer extension tube seems more secure to me.... One thing I would really like is a Precise ELA Titanium Extension Tube to be offered when ordering the ELA Ti....

Question... ELA V2 Ti has a Titanium top cap with Titanium 510 atomizer threads... Can the Ti 510 atomizer treads take the abuse of threading and unthreading (atty) at least once a day without striping out or binding? Same goes for the Ti locking ring threading...

So I have had my concerns with Titanium but found a fellow on the Provari forum who has owned Ti mods for 2 years, I sent him a PM with my thread concerns, Here is his reply:

So I saw your post on the Provape P3 thread.... Not worried about Ti scratches as I handle my mods with great care.. I am looking at buying an ELA V2 Titanium... My concern is the Ti threads.. I will keep then clean and lubricated, but the 510 Ti threads cant be lubricated... How have yours held up? No striping or binding when screwing and unscrewing atomizers? Thanks for your help in addressing my Ti concerns.. Derek

Hi Derek, I'e no issues using a Ti mod. Whether with Ti attys or with the standard Brass / SS ones. No thread jumps, binds, grits whatever. As you have correctly stated, a bit of care alleviates these issues altogether.

In fact I don't even use Noalox or Vaseline on the threads anymore. Used to do so before tho. I have also used a dab of regular Talcum Powder on the threads (including at 510), blew the excess off, and that seems to work the best on Ti devices.

Just don't worry and go for your Ti-Ela, nothing will go wrong. Imho the problems ppl have usually are their own doing. Those are the careless types ~ and their devices don't last them anyway, whatever be it. I have 2-yr old vape gears with me - and all work as good as they did on their first day. I think you are my type - thus relax!

Regards,
Stan
Thanks for putting my concerns at ease.....:)

Product: Precise ELA V2 Telescoping Mod - Titanium
In stock: 39

I sure hope we can get enough orders for this project to proceed.....

Ti wish list:
ELA extension Ti tube
Precise ELA V2 Ti Flat Bottom Switch Assembly
Contoured Wide Mouth Titanium T-Tip
I'd think it would proceed, maybe there'd only be eleven of them. Wouldn't that be cool?

I don't plan on killing it. Kind of reminds of the Shockwave though, if I did kill it, then everyone would suddenly want one and it'd be too late :(

That's good news but I don't want you to take it in the shorts with a small production run... As Snork said it would be kinda cool to have only a few out there... The ELA Ti "Dirty Dozen" .... :2cool:
