Storing nic in freezer is best for it's shelf life for sure but if you plan on using it over the next couple of months, I dont think its necessary. Im sure some nicotine vendors have had bottles of nic on the shelf a while waiting on people to buy it. I plan to only make small batches of the base.120-240ml at a time. I wouldnt be worried about that amount not being in the freezer as it will get used fairly quick

been diy-ing for a few months now and early on took some advice from someone much more experienced.
knew "about" 12-15 nic is what fit and preferred 60/40 or 50/50 pg/vg. so, just ordered a reasonable amount to start.
just add flavor, mix, maybe steep and vape. no calculator, little math, little danger dealing with high nic concentrates.
may not be cheapest way but still huge savings. and, have found some delightful single flavors from nude nicotine, tfa.
enjoy yourself . . .

Me too!

I agree with the simple method. I get my base at WL and order equal qtys of vg and pg - both at 12mg/mL nic. Mixing these at 50/50 (or any other ratio) still yields my desired nic level. Yes, I know that adding a little flavoring will change this nic level - but only a small amount. I cannot tell the difference since I am a one, two, or maybe a three (max) flavoring mixer...

In fact, unflavored 50/50-1.2% is a large part of my daily vape. Try it, you might just like it!

Looking at my consumption of 6 ml to 9 ml a day I was thinking that making up a batch of 200 ml 50/50 at 1.2% wouldnt be a bad idea. Vape stores keep premixed premiums on the shelf for who one knows how long and dont seem concerned about weakening nicotine content yet I hear a lot about freezing nicotine as soon as possible to preserve it. I also hear a bottle of juice is good for usually a year or more.
If A person had a 100 ml of %60 nicotine in a PG base in a cool dark place but not frozen, what would be the shelf life on it?

I'm not sure what the shelf life on nic is, but I do know it's longer if it's kept in the freezer. If you have a 100ml, I'd suggest putting 2 30 ml bottles in the freezer and keep the other 40ml in a cool, dark place. When you get low on base, just take one of the 30s out of the freezer and let it warm to room temp. If you mix a lot, chances are you will use all 100ml before it loses too much potency, but it will stay fresher in the freezer
