I live in Canada, where the mail is pretty prompt (we have, like, 1/20th the volume of the US). They say they're going to be there, they are. Rain, snow, sleet, thermonuclear war - nothing stops them.
The signature needed thing crosses borders, too. My Reos required me to go to the post office to pick them up (I wasn't home to receive them), BUT it was incredibly fast delivery (ordered on Sunday, in my hand in another country by Thurs, even with signature hiccup).
I feel your pain having to wait until Tues. At least you have the mini to comfort you... and us to commiserate with <hug>.
