I watched 2 soldering youtube videos last night. I am set to go. Bring it on!!

Find an old radio or other bit of electronics and do some practice soldering to get used to the way the iron heats the contacts and the solder flows onto the contacts.

Don't practice on a DNA30 like I did. And make sure you have flux and a solder sucker for when you need to redo a connection.

It wasn't very clear in the guide but be mindful of which button is the UP and which is DOWN and what position that you have them in.

Also, be careful not to get any superglue on the actual connectors on the deans connectors. Theres a little bent flap on all 4 pins that is supposed to compress when inserted, well I can tell you that the mod will not fit together if there is glue preventing it. Ive got the connectors soaking in nail polish remover to hopefully get that off.

Yes, that way (being right handed) when I flip my wrist to the right the screen is right side up.

"Right Mode and Left Mode: While locked, holding the fire and up buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds flips the display. This allows for maximum flexibility in designing the mod, as well as accommodating left handed use. This setting is stored to internal flash memory, and remains if power is removed. If using a potentiometer, this option can be set before soldering the potentiometer on during manufacture."

The new FD 510 for BF looks interesting. I ordered a few of them to test. Does anybody know if they have the floating 510 pin or is its stationary?

A 3mm extension sounds short. I also wish he put a barb or screw thread on the tube connector.

These wont fit the current v3.1. The top plate has a larger diameter, but it easy enough to add another optional part Top Cap that these would fit, if it makes sense.
