That v3.1 Model you have in your cart from Sculpteo has all four buttons. If you compare using the single button models with the same individual parts, with parts selected separately at Shapeways:

WSF
Sculteo $72
Shapeways $84; 15% more

WSF Polished
Sculpteo $80
Shapeways $90; 12% more

If you compare the 4 button model with parts selected separately at Shapeways:

WSF
Sculpteo $79
Shapeways $94; 20% more

WSD Polished
Sculpteo $90
Shapeways $102; 13% more

If you compare all Alumide parts selected separately with a WSF Internal:

Sculpteo $93
Shapeways $109 at; 17% more.

I had to find where I got that 20% number from :). Of course it was from when I ordered from Sculpteo. I did the calc before I ordered from them so it stuck in my head.

While it took a while to do all the comparisons, I think it was helpful to do it. Whats also became clear is that you could also mix and match from the two vendors to drive the costs down further. Get the buttons and rings from shapeways and get the other stuff from Sculpteo and pick up another 5-10%. But I am not going down that Rabbit hole....

Lol...cool. Didn't realize there was a all parts dna version with just one button. I stuck the all button version in my cart sometime this past week, might have been the only option at the time. Hell, either way I am happy as can be about how fast I get it from Sculpteo and if print is better than shapeways even more happy. Will just be glad to get the mech parts.

I was out and about this eve with a Gdeal DNA30 and a Peko, and all I could think was how much I want everyone else to have one or six of these as soon as possible. I'm just as excited that we are about to see a flood of these appear in pictures here as I was when I fired my first DNA30 after days of working on it.

The first one will be a heck of a time to build for many, but you have an army of people to help you through, and the outcome is so bloody worth it.

I will be one of those hard time first builders, so expect a million questions once I get everything in one place. I'm not worried at all about my Pekochu mod since I can tinker and fiddle with the best of them, but soldering little electronics... yikes. I will almost definitely need to buy a new soldering iron. (I think mine was a radio shack special handed down to me from someone else who soldered once every decade.)
