Hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and a question for the people who are off work and in front of a computer on Friday. (or if you are at work in front of a computer... I don't judge LOL)

I've got rid of all the leaking issues I had except for one, I'm getting a wet 510 connection. Including a drip tip sized o-ring under the BF atty cured the leaking I was getting in-between the top cap and internal top area. (also making sure I don't over-squonk helps) The only area I'm leaking from now is just a little seepage it seems from the 510. It's not much, but if I don't clean it thoroughly after a bottle's worth of vaping, by the next time I go to refill, I've got juice all over the bottle. The first refill just has a bit of juice on the white delrin threads which seems to seep down until the bottom nut and fill tubing is wet, but it's not leaking from the top of the tube which is what I originally suspected. Any ideas?

Excuse the condition of the internals. This was my first and has basically been my persona beta unit and my daily beater. (I love this thing)

Also I wiped off most of the juice that was gathered around the threads of the delrin before I took the picture. (stupid for evidence of where the juice seems to be coming from, but I was still trying to diagnose the issue.) If it was coming from beneath the delrin than I would suspect my tap job for the center screw, but it's seems to be seeping out of the threads that screw into the 510. Time for a new delrin piece? It is a little beat up from how many times I've taken this PeKo apart again and put it back together again due to user error. :p

Your getting leakage because you're nylon bushing needs to be threaded tightly into, from the , bottom of the 510. Tgat need to be tight and you'll be all good. Good thing you posted a pic!
Looks great btw!

wowOwow! this is a great li'l piece of info here. THANK YOU so much for posting this.

KenT, what OthatGuy said. ^^^

Also, if screwing the delrin in doesnt fully work, it may be happening because you dont have enough compression on the oring inside the 510 under the screw. No worries. You just need to torqued down the screw on the oring inside the 510 too.
Tigtening positive pin should solve it..i don't have my delrin insert all the way tight to get my attys to sit flush and no leaks here. U could also put an oring on your delrin insert to help contain any seepage.

Also, Not sure if you just drilled out delrin (no threads) or threaded delrin using the Dewalt #6-32 tap Rossum suggested to fit the 510 custom screw. I imagine you would get a tighter seal having it threaded rather than just held by the bottom nut. I picked up one at Home Depot and worked great.

I don't run any orings in mine, I threaded the white piece, and it doesn't leak at all..ever. I've got 6 mods like that. But you gotta have the white piece threaded and tight to the bottom.

That's probably the issue. I adjusted it that way to get my cyclone to fit flush, but if it's causing leaking then I'll screw it down and just live with atty gabs.

UPS says my two polished white pekos from sculpteo have left Koln Germany and should be here on Monday. I still haven't decided on a finish. I think just krylon matte sealer on one. Maybe yellow and blue on the other. Or paint one black and mix and match the parts to have two opposite devices. Perhaps dye one black and then coat it with black paint so scratches won't show as easily.
How has stain lasted for other people? I like the idea of faux wood. I assume you clear coat it after staining.

Gdeal here are some pics of the loose ring. The brown one having the problem. If I measure the outside of both rings they are roughly the same but the inside above the ledge distance is 44.4mm for the white one and around 45 mm for the brown one. Maybe I can put more varnish on the brown one and that will tighten it a bit?
