Hey guys... Im kinda late to the party on this one.. Any plans for another coop for the v2.1 peko? Looks like a good weekend project:)
Its turned into more of a month long project for me lol. I am finally getting around to paint my shell, just finished the second coat (acrylic paint is doing well!) and going to try to get a primer coat or two tonight. That is if I don't get a bit too innebriated.

ETA: the reason it has taken so long is due to work and school keeping me very busy, not that it is hard.

Haha. Im not too good at painting and sanding. I figure if i can just get the thing working in a weekend itll be a success. The guys at work always put me in charge of breaking things and putting stuff together that doesnt need to look pretty

Oh man I couldn't have stared at mine that long without wanting to vape it! The day after my birthday it came in the mail (it was a birthday present) I had it built and vaping in probably 45 minutes. And that was me sitting there with my 5 week old daughter in my lap and fiddling to get the mod together. I also was finicky about getting the 510 perfect and Nuppin flush. She stayed quiet and content while daddy built his birthday mod! Then a few days after I got my initial "can't put it down" phase I tore it apart and graffiti/ clear coated it.

I am not that great either, especially since I am a bit OCD. Everything has to be just right lol. If you have time to dedicate to it, I am sure you could get it going with little effort. You may want to chip a bit extra for the colored parts and in a polished finish. That way all you would need to do is clear coat and assemble! I just wanted it to be uniquely mine with my blood, sweat and tears in it.

I have just been so busy with a new semester and work keeping me busy. Trust me, I have been drooling to get this together! I am hoping to get it together tonight. I saw your grafitti shell, it looks pretty sick! Who knows when I will get my other kits assembled lol.

Hi everyone. I'm getting ready to order parts for this mod. Quick question: the build doc says its for v1.1, but the parts on Sculpteo are for v1.1 and v2.1. Any major differences between the two? Is there any reason I should get one or the other? Thanks

EDIT: ehhh, ignore my question. Just noticed on the site it says v1.1 upgraded to v2.1. I'll learn to read better at some point....

Thanks Ronnbert! I have been painting/ drawing since I was a kid. I specialize in graffiti/ lettering. I have also done tattoos. I use to work in a shop a few years back. But have since stopped and only do a few on the side. Glad you liked the graffiti! It is one of a kind!

Thats pretty awesome! I am not that creative, cannot draw well (I blame OCD tendencies not being satisfied), though I did take a 3D Modelling class when I was working on my first Associates and my teacher and class enjoyed my work and said I grew as an artist. I also got one of my pieces published in a local art magazine. It was a fun class, but kept me on my toes.

Solder lugs are readily available as crimp terminals

Just snip off the crimp end and there's a nice spot for solder
