Sculpteos stepping up their game order placed 21st received 28th and print quality is just top notch i can barely see print lines ...
For sure. I ordered one Jan 21, or around then, and got it Jan 26th! 5 or 6 days from FRANCE to PA! And great quality. Went together flawlessly.

I've got two of the authentic derringers that chowderhead converted to BF. In my opinion they are worth the price. I hated spending that much money on them, but I figured since they are so hot of an item right now if I didn't like them I could sell em for at least what I paid. But it turns out they are all they are hyped up to be. The big thing I was most worried about was leaking. It is not an issue. I've posted this picture in the CH thread, but figured with all the derringer talk it could go here also.

I actually got juice all the way up to the top rim, but couldn't hold it while taking a picture.

Alright guys.. another question, opinions appreciated. My button assembly works good, but I want to be able to take this to work and not worry about a backup Reo, I want the mod to hit every time no matter what, so I bought 18 g copper wire and 16 g wire. I'm thinking 16g just because it's a little beefier. But what are you guys thinking?

I was thinking of doing the same thing on one of mine. The firing button works on mine, but like you implied there seems to be sometimes that it doesn't fire correctly because it's pivoting instead of just pressing straight down. It's not much of an issue on most of my PeKos, but it seems to happen more on a specific one. That one I'm going to try the wire instead of solder lugs trick. I think you'd be fine with either gauge wire, but I wouldn't go any higher.

Please post pictures when you are done!

Good luck,
Ken

Alright, so I'm gonna go with the slightly thicker 16g just to be safe. I'll get pictures up as soon as it's done! Gotta unpack the solder gun and get goin!

:excited:

Are you planning on soldering the threaded rod too? I was thinking about doing this as well.

Anyone else use the magnets for the switch? Seems to be the smoothest option.

Also, I realized that the original pin from the fd510 can replace the switch's screw. It may be better than the screw, especially if you do the wire mod.

Probably not gonna solder the rod, cause I only have one. And if I need to take it apart I want to be able too. With just soldering the button/ 510 I can still take that part off along with everything else. Once I get more parts kits I might solder the brass rod on one of them.

Shout out to Gdeal!! You the man! I thank you very much for creating this marvelous PeKo!
And thank you for helping me out on my birthday last week! I treasure my PeKo!
Hopefully a few more to come, like 4 of them, you can't have too many!
Take care.

I was going to consider a washer on the firing pin (pin, washer, connector, nut) to change the angle of the connector so that it is square at the point of battery contact. That way the funky angle can be held by the spring/magnets where it won't be noticed. I have a big problem though because I am using my PeKo and if I take it apart I can't use it!

This works well. Mine Is set up this way. Be mindful though u may need to stick a spacer under magnet or u will have a crazy hair trigger and chance autofires.
