Printed Mechanical Bottom Feeder Mod

Over 4 days without a post! Were did everyone go? I guess everyone has all they need and no new developments to report. Happily vaping my Pekos . One thing to report. I tried to do a solder mod but couldn't get it to fit right. Now, I am going to have to de-solder, and try again or find new solder lugs to build #4 the regular way. I can find the smaller of the two, but the big one, it seems I would have to buy 100 of them. Anyone know where I can find a single 3/8 solder lug? I don't plan on building 100 of these.

I have found that in a flash you can go to walmart and get a box of 10 ring connecters in 3/8" and they work great. That is all mine have the wire mod and i just took some of the end off and soldered to it. But if your handy enough you can take the "crimp connector" end off and drill a hole for the size of your nut and bolt in the parts kit.

Just a thought.

Or contact live wire and ask nicely for a solder lug

Never thought of Livewire for a single lug. I will give that a try if I cannot make my ring work. Thanks! I had thought of the crimp lugs, and that is another option.

Any idea what size threads the small brass screws have on the 26650 Peko... I drop one of the nuts and searched for over an hour trying to find it... It is gone.. I tried 1-72 like the 18650 but no luck

I just got an email back from Livewire. He wait that it would be too expensive and that he has to charge Priority mail at $6. He advised me to check with gdeal....hey George!.........

I haven't built one of those yet. Isn't there a mechanical parts list like there is on the 18650?

Pwheeler.. Thanks...I somehow skipped right over that page of the build doc, but I found it... I may just convert the 26650 into a wire mod...

On another note if any one needs the 1-72 brass nuts, I have 100 of then

I saw on Sculpteo they now offer Alumide.
Any chance the Pekos will be available in that material?

Same here, Alumide was horrible at Sculpteo, much better at SW

Actually my alumide sculpteo is nice but not the same color of shapeways that I wanted. I think someone else got a bad alumide print forgot who it was.

Auto parts store.you just flatten out where crimp is and drill small hole or solder .I got tinned copper ones. If you dont find I think I have some I could send

wow 15 minutes on a vtc5, i would have thought 2600 mah would go longer than that... perhaps i should be worried about pushing battery below voltage threshold....

15 minutes of time pressing the on button. That is quite a few 5 second draws. The lower the ohms the faster the batteries will drain.
