I put in my order for a Buzz on the 18th....it's still in "Awaiting Fulfillment" status (Order #1467). If I have that option, I'd like the new x2 battery life option... Battery life is the main reason I chose the Buzz over the Infinity. That and the fact that the Buzz has been around for like a hundred years and it's rock-solid. Sorry to creep out of the woodwork all of the sudden, I've been reading this thread for a while. I wanted the Infinity, but I started reading this group and I realized that the Infinity wasn't quite ready for prime time. There were several problems reported (and immediately fixed, don't get me wrong) but I'm not a cutting edge kinda guy, I just want a mod that works and works every time. I saw a youtube video from a guy who'd had his buzz for 8 months, that kinda sold me.

I'm a fan of never-fail devices. :)

Hi Mage and welcome to our little corner of the world! The Buzz Pro (with the extended batt life) won't be ready for a couple of months yet. I believe Mike mentioned possibly sometime in May of all the testing goes well.

You are right tho, many of us have had our Buzz for quite a good while and it rocks! I've had mine since last Oct and haven't had a single problem :)

Thanks for the reply! I'm a recent member of the Bluegrass Vapers (bluegrassvapers.org) and one of our members shows up at every meeting and he always has the same mod (Buzz), and it always works 100% every time. I spent several weeks checking out different mods and making notes in Excel to make a solid data-driven decision on which device would work best for me. I looked at the GG, the Buzz, the Infinity, Copper, GLV, everything (I excluded all box mods out of the gate, just full disclosure).

I think it says something that I came down to the Infinity and the Buzz before I even realized both were manufactured by the same company. But then I started reading the notcigs forums and I saw a lot of problems (relatively) with the Infinity and virtually none with the Buzz. Now I realize that the Infinity is newer and problems are to be expected, but those expected problems are something I'd rather not deal with, so I settled on the most respected, most solid, most likely to succeed device--the Buzz. =)

I look forward to it showing up in my mailbox.

Hi Wayward , it is true we have had some teething pains with the Infinity , our new designs will eliminate many of those issues , the Buzz is a rock solid unit for sure ( I loose them faster than I break them LOL ! )
I fully expect that tradition to continue with the new model , in fact the New Infinity will be designed like the Buzz in many ways anyhow welcome to Notcigs .

Thanks for the welcome. :)

I've ordered hardware from vendors numbering in the double digits and you're only the second to speak to me personally. That means a lot to me. (PM me for the name of the other one, I'm not going to mention it in Buzz's forum).

Back on subject, I was really interested in the Infinity, it's smaller and sleeker, more like my current preference (eGo) so I was really into that...but the forums really turned me off of it. It's a double-edged sword that way.

One of the things that turned me off was the battery life (6 hours vs. 7 hours on the buzz). So if you can double that, it's a no-brainer for me. 12 hrs vs. 14 hrs it doesn't even matter at that point, I just want it go a full day's work.

Welcome Wayward and you are correct. It's been dropped from 25 feet up blowing the batteries inside but the Buzz survived. It's been skidded down the road dropped from a Harley. Kicked, thrown, drowned and dried but it takes a licken and keeps on vapin.

Is that the Buzz or Chuck Norris?

I own both. The infinity is rock solid IMO. The little issues in the begining have been fixed by mike for the most part. The battery life has never beed a drawback since I got mine.

The buzz is a beast. I can use it exclisively and it runs all day for me. If the buzz had the thumbwheel like the infinity I would probably stop looking for PVs and enjoy lol

BTW the LAST thing I want to do is isolate my customers from the product or the company , We have been in the MFG and sales aspect of products for a long time and do not plan on treating our customers like crap .

And thats why you have a loyal following Mike. Nearly everyone you see mentioning notcigs or even you specifically has something positive to say. That says alot.

I have seen you go so far above and beyond that I am dumbfounded. You treat us all with respect even when we annoy you. :) Keep it up!

I can guarantee you a customer as long as you keep building. Me.....
