I was reading the description on the Pro Line thank's to Bovinia (isn't she great?) and the Pro VVPV will have the built in charger and the description says "no need to change batteries". My question is can you change them to charge them so your PV isn't out of commission while they charge and will it be a hassle if you can?

You can but it is not recommended because you have to remove 4 screws BUT It will operate as a passthru !

Oh well that's cool. It won't be out of service then while it's charging. Does the power for the passthrough also charge it, or vice versa?

It will have an external charger , I found one that is built into a wall wart type charger so It will have to be plugged into the wall to act as a pass thru

Im guessing it draws too many amps like that for a USB port?

it is an 8.4 volt charger , USB is 5 volts so NO GO !
