What's the difference you've found? A used REO cost more than a boggers wood....

I've had two boggers now. I like them, but they are a little bigger than the REO, the squonk hole is in the corner and a little harder for me to get good pressure to push the bottle (not really positive as to why... the bottle pushes over just a little when I squonk... I have a little trouble with it), the catch cups are similar, but REOs atty connector has better threads, and finally - I cracked my first bogger knocking it off my desk on to the carpet (and I've read two other people who said they cracked theirs under similar circumstances), so I sort of think REO might be a better wood worker than bogger. --> For the VV bogger, it requires a screwdriver to adjust the voltage (screwdriver comes with the VV bogger) and the hole the trim pot is in is very tiny. I was OK with that at first, but I definitely prefer the thumb wheel to adjust voltage that my VVPV and my VV Woodville use. They're just easier.

As to the price tag, my first bogger was more expensive than my VV Woodville. I chose some expensive options for the wood. He usually has some ready-made at good prices, but also lets you select some options and it gets pricy in a hurry ;)

I'm going to mention here that I bought my VV Woodville sort of on a whim. As the release date was approaching, I went back and forth with myself over that purchase a few times and I didn't think I was going to buy one. Wood isn't my preferred build material. I generally prefer metal. After using my VV Woodville for a while, it really grew on me and a couple of weeks in to using it, I had a little wind fall. I spent the extra cash on that first boggers. After I cracked the boggers, it just sat on the shelf until one of my buddies made me an offer. I spent the money he gave me on my non-vv boggers... and I've barely used it probably because it isn't VV... and if I'm not carrying VV, I'm carrying my REO mini for its size and durability.

I hope that helps. The boggers really is a nice wood feeder and I think that if you prefer wood as a build material, it should be seriously considered along side the redsky, monkey boxx, reo woodville, and one or two others. I personally prefer the design and size of my VV Woodville over the VV Boggers - I don't own a redsky, monkey boxx, or unregulated Woodville so I can't compare them to my unregulated boggers. In fact, I haven't even had the opportunity to see the monkey boxx or any of the redsky mods up close. --> If you prefer metal, the VVPV and the REO VV Grand are in the same class (in fact, in a class all by themselves).

I've been vaping my boggers mini all day while my provari and reo sit on a shelf. I love all three for different reasons and tomorrow I'll bring my reo mini with me to work. The reo is definitely more durable than the boggers because it's made from solid aluminum stock and the boggers is fine exotic woods. If I ever dropped my boggers I would cringe and expect some damage. If I drop my reo I would also cringe but would know it would be fine with maybe only a blemish or scratch. If I were to order another boggers box I would order it without the Boston round bottle and opt for the nalgene bottles since they are easier to squonk. I've changed out my boston round bottle for a 5 ml luicy juicy bladder and squonking is a breeze now.

As far as my vaping experience with the two bottom feeders, the difference is minimal for me. I use Cisco spec LRs 1.5s and 1.8s and the reo goes through more juice at the end of the day than the boggers. I'm not very techi but I'd guess it's because its all mechanical and there is no added resistance through wiring so it packs a bit more punch. I do notice a little more warmth from the vape but can't tell the difference in vapor production between the two. Both hit hard with my 24 mg juices.

I would suggest going with the reos since it would be worry free, but if you're leaning towards the boggers then that's a fine choice too. Just treat it like a baby.

Happy vaping

Well I pulled the trigger. :vapor:
I hope I'm right, but I've left VV behind, passed on the Provari (even w/approval to spend) and purchased a pre owned REO Grand.
Now for the wait..... and the hopes and dreams of a nation (in my head) rest on the sturdy shoulders of the Aluminum block transformed painstakingly into a mechanical vaporizer. The invaluable information and recommendations obtained here on ECF and the REOnauts:nun: persuasive passion for all things vape have led me to this decision. Provarites:nun:I may revisit you for my 1 year anniversary. It's been and educational week. Until then, Cheers.

I currently have a provari and a reo mini as my go to! If I'm at home or in my truck I normally have the Provari in hand. If i'm on the go or at work the mini is at hand. You cant go wrong with either one of those. If I had to pick just one it would probably be the reo, the only reason is the Provari is kinda awkward in my pocket. I keep a tank on my provari and in your pocket one wrong move will separate the cart from the base making it weak and prone to leaking.

Not to mention the reo is STRONG!!!! It has fell to the ground toooo many times to count! It has several scratches, dings and war marks but it hasn't failed me not once! At work I sweat a lot and having sweat get into anything with electronics could possibly short it out, not to worry about with the reo.
