I have had the same problems though I didn't order mine from health Cabin, I got mine from Vapor Beast. Boge cartos that turn the juice black and clog within 1.5 days of use with 100% PG juice, sometimes within 2 hours. I saved all mine that went bad in a baggie though, just in case. Keep in mind this is with different flavors, different kinds of PG, some I tried adding VG, all with the same result. 2012-05-05_12-12-16_78.jpg

Exactly! I don't have a testing device but would not be surprised if some of the SR carts are LR.

I have never had juices change colour after passing through a Boge before. Never. It is not normal.
I am using the provari, the boges are all reading 2.8-3.1 ohm, as they should.

Sorry to piggyback on this thread, but it didn't seem worthy of a new thread. Does anyone know if the same issue is happening with the Boge 808d SR cartos?

I was going to order the Boge 510D SR in black, as a poster in this thread mentioned that the black didn't seem to have the same problems as the blue, green, stainless. Did anyone else notice the same?

Well that sucks. Was just about to stock up on boges with the big sale going on and all till I saw this :-(

HC, do you have any idea if this is still the case with the Boges you have in stock right now?

Thank you for your asking.
We do think that they were just bad batch. We do sell a lot of 510D carto every month. Most of them have no such problems.
We have reported it to Boge and they will look into it. :)

Had the exact same thing happen to me with a batch I got from a Canadian vendor as well. Ordered 20 and about 5 of them turned black on me. I also noticed the filler was less tightly packed and not as tall as the ones that were working fine. Hope this was a 1 off as I just ordered 50 more from HC.

This is really confusing to me, I know that juice itself will darken with age, but how could the carto make it that dark that fast? Do they taste burnt to u guys? What voltages are u running these on? That one pic with the tank and the bottle of juice is just disturbing. I was going to buy a bunch of these to try because I have been having trouble with the LR dc Smoktech cartos I have been using. I certainly don't want to switch to these and have this happen! Literally I have my shopping cart on another page right now, now what should I do? Arrrgggghhhhhh!!! If only the ce2s didn't have all their issues I would just go back to them!!

I think, it is only an incidental problem.
Did you use boge 510D before? :)

What I suspect is the filler or the gauze that wraps the coil was too tight on these, causing it to burn. The cartos worked great for about a day and a half or so and then you start seeing a darkening of the juice by the punch hole and then within another mL of use the color was almost coffee black and there was no flavor, shortly after that they acted like they were flooded and became useless. I am hoping that not too many are like that of the 50 i bought.

The tank pic is mine and I only use 3.7V devices. There was obviously a bad batch of them.
Should you order these? Yes, I am ordering more.
I have had a trouble free 6 months of these so a handful of bad cartos aren't going to turn me off them.

amy, excellent customer service as always. many of us appreciate not only how willing to help when there is a problem, but also how respectful you are of your customers.

i have some of these cartos on order. hopefully they are ok. i was thinking though, can't we run a safety pin down along the edge of the inner fabric and stretch it a bit? I have some old boge cartos and every now and then they seem tight, or lacking the proper amount of filler, so i run a safety pin through the filler and it helps it for awhile. Not the greatest vape, but they will vape better.

to run a safety pin down along the edge of the inner fabric and stretch it a bit is a good idea.
Just let me know what you discover.
Boge manage has read the post. They pay high attention to our feedback. They will do test. :)

Hi, do you know if they sorted out this problem yet? I have 100 boges here from the seemingly faulty batch; they seem to be "too tight" causing some juices not to wick very well when used in carto tanks. And as stated; the draw, taste and sound seems different from previous batches. A lot less "crackle" it seems (sound)

If they fixed this problem I would gladly re-order to have GOOD boges again!

I bought another box of 50 after they were restocked with the new batch and they are also bad.
By the end, I'll have probably thrown 80 of the 100 in the garbage bin.

i am very sorry for the problem again. Could you hold a few piece bad ones and return them to us, so we can send them to Boge? They need to find out the reason and fix it.

We will replace new ones for you. Thanks.
