I will reem them all out I had no idea folks would be tossing themselves in the dirt . I understand some folks dont have tools to do so I dont expect people to have to modify something I sell .

But you know i have a penchant for throwing myself in the dirt!(and I added a post to the one you quoted, so

:p)

and I fully expect the New reemed out RM2's to be listed on your site by no later than Sept. 29....

PUT them porkies to work..they been loungin and piggin out for WAY too long...

Ok before I read this post or got onto ECF tonight I had went to Rob's site to buy a RM2. Only to see they are out of stock. So I filled in my email to be notified when they are back in stock. Now will the wait be longer Rob? Just wondering???? I am anxious to get one but you may have your plate full again. BTW has it ever been empty???? LOL But when this is figured out I want one!

the silver lining may be that some us visually impaired folks may want to drill oversized holes on both posts to make getting the dang wires in easier. i'd never actually thought of that before now.

I simply couldn't help my self I disassembled my whole REO and RM2 the 2nd day I had it....during this I also saw the posts were also brass. After dealing w/ Drilling out stainless RDA caps this was such a breeze with cobalt bits. Biggest thing with Brass is its MUCH softer than stainless so if you have any doubt just let Rob do it which he is anyways now.

I did it simply b/c I was amazed at how well the thing worked for how simple of a design it all is....at the same time I was the kid who always took apart everything I owned....luckily I never broke anything....well to the point I couldn't fix it that is.

I can see this is going to be a issue I tested the units with 30/32/and 28 gauge wire . Looks like I will be drilling these out

I suspect the price will remain the same and the profits will shrink with the extra time spent ........
Your the man Rob .......

PS don't you hate it when crap changes on ya ...... :)

As always Rob you impress me with your hands-on approach and your drive to keep your customers happy. That's why you're the James Brown of the community (the hardest workin' man in mod business).

Someone previously said it perfect.. We've had such an influx of new folks lately that some are not used to having a vendor so involved in their community they have created. Things happen, life moves forward, and at the end of the day things will be okay.

Exactly. Rob should offer patient satisfaction in services to corporate America. Press Ganey scores would go through the roof.
Hmmmm, now that I think about it -- NEVERMIND. If Rob were to do that, we'd lose him forever.
