I just got me an Smoking Everywhere starting kit in a mall, not sure which version, the box doesn't show any version number so I assume is version 1.0. The problem is that my cartridges last so little, I've spent 3 in one day, and the girl at the mall said they should be the same as 20 cigarettes so have I smoked 60 cigarettes in one day???? I usually smoke about 15 cigarettes a day. Those stupid cartridges have barelly any flavor, but I can feel the nicotine (that spicy flavor). The cartridges are High nicotine - tobacco flavor. Anyway, I'd say I puffed each cartidge about 20 or 30 times, is hard to tell, but no more than 50 for sure. But even if I puffed it 50 times that would mean, if each cartidge equals 20 cigarettes that I smoke a cigarette in 2.5 puffs. Perhaps it equals 20 cigarettes on nicotine but not on the amount of puffs and I've been overdosing myself with nicotine? If so, why do they say those high nicotine cartidges have the same amount of nicotine as the regular cigarettes? Wouldn't this mean each puff have the same amount of nicotine?

Hi jsoldi, and welcome to the forum. Unfortunatly, SE is overstating it,,,

The good news is that you can fill your own cartridges with eliquid that is readily available online. Buy yourself a few bottles from one of the great suppliers listed in the suppliers section on the forum. There are a lot of good flavors to try! Check out Spikey's guide to ecigs. It's a very good starter guide to getting started in vaping. Also, spend some time in the reviews section of the forum. There's a ton of good information there.

Good luck!!

SE was my first ecig too. If they gave you a receipt, it might help you identify what ecig you have (for future reference). Otherwise, look carefully at the shape of the mouthpiece. If it's kind of angular and tapered, its either a "Classic/Penstyle" or a "Mini". if it's a cylinder, it's probably a "SuperMini". Check SE's website and compare images of the (I think) 2.0 and Gold and see which inhaler CAP matches the ones that came with your ecig—one is longer than the other. SE is not good at labeling their models.
In terms of 20 v. 15 cigs, that's just not true. You've probably smoked long enough to know when you've what we call "redlined", that is your heart starts beating faster, vision and words get blurry--that's how you know you're using too high a concentration.
The difficult thing is that the concentration listed on the cart or eLiquid is higher (though we're not sure by how much) than the amount of nic entering your bloodstream. One general rule that helped me when I started is "as much nicotine as you think you need, you need less." Because of the different delivery systems (smoking versus vaping), the amount of nicotine in a cigarette versus the concentration of nicotine in eLiquid are not helpful in correlating how much nicotine you use. Just find out what you're comfortable with and keep an eye on how your body reacts.
There's a tremendous amount of user-generated content in electronic cigarettes. You have to figure out what works for you. And definitely check out instructional videos--Spikey's are great. Also, search for a guy named rustylug on youtube (he runs a UK site called bebo.com), he has several how-to videos for different models of ecigs.
The number of puffs you get is not really as important as the amount of liquid you use. You will use the ecig more often than analogs, but most likely not many puffs per session vs. analogs. But that depends on your preference.

I got the same sales pitch when I purchased my first e-cig too at a kiosk in Vegas. It was a Smoking Everywhere (SE) Gold starter kit. You know if it's model is Gold if your box is in gold lettering, and on the battery it says "Gold". I've since moved on to another brand E-cig.
I use to smoke Marlboro Menthol lights and now I only vape. My guess was that 1 cart lasted about an equivalent of 3 cigs, not 20. How much nicotine you're taking in depends on if it's filled with "High" "Med" or "Low". I found that just "topping off" and re-using the same cart for a few days saves me money. Then I throw it away and open a new one.
I hope this helps you a little:oops:
