If you add it all up, juice and parts, and shipping thats $300. Believe me I dont want it to be the e-liquid.

Since it is encompassing nearly every thing I have on hand for vaping, I'm concerned, and I'm expressing it here.

As I stated when I have some new parts, it should clear this up, one way or the other.

Thanks for the information.

I vape TV exclusively (on a 510 with stock, ego, and passthru batteries), and in nearly 6 months of vaping, have only had 2 atty's go out on me, one of which happened after I dropped my ecig on the concrete floor at the airport.

Maybe I am just lucky, but I actually still use the original two attys that came with my starter kit (received in March this year). I have a bunch of other attys in rotation, some from madvapes, vaporkings, value vapor, a couple of very small-potatoes vendors, and even some from TV, none of which are Joye brand (at least I don't think they are). When I started, I used to soak my attys to clean them, but after reading something about how water can damage them, now I simply take it off the battery and blow into it, covering the other end with a paper towel to catch the liquid, then let it sit overnight before reloading it.

I severely doubt that TV's juice is a major factor in your atty issue. Some of his juices may clog an atty more than others, but that will happen with any vendor's juices. And clogs are easy to fix...as for attys burning out, are you sure you are keeping them wet enough? Even without a LR atty, some of the normal ones like to stay wet.

I have heard of people having the bad luck of receiving orders of several attys at a time and none of them work longer than a day. Quality control for parts has yet to stabilize.
I would try getting atty's from a few different vendors, a few at a time, and see if you notice a different in quality and/or longevity. Then when you find some that you love, stick with that vendor.:vapor:

Sometimes you have to bump back out the batt end just a bit on the Atty to make sure you making good connection, when you screw it on you always feel it snug near the end and make connection, if its screwing on to easy and doesn't work try this. I find most of the time when one of my Atty's goes dead is when my Batt is running dead as well so I always like to be running a Batt with good charge in it, hence why I have a ton of Batts, mods and hardware but I just like having a solid charge as much as possible this seems to keep my Atty's going strong for long as well as keeping them Wet always

OMG mrsblackross thank you for posting that, I was starting to worry a bit--- I've been vaping since January and the only atty that has gone out on me was one I accidentally pulled the wick from--but even that one still works for dripping..
I have been reading about other peoples atty issues since day 1 but never had a problem myself.
I only use TV liquid.

Just as a side note back to the original post, I have tried quite a few liquids from different vendors and I have always ended up back at TV where I have tried more than a few flavors... some I liked and some I didn't, some I steeped and some that hardly made it out of the box before use. Even if I didn't particularly "feel" a flavor, he's right... I've found it to be more my taste buds or what I THINK it should taste like rather than bad juice. That's been the great thing about this forum: I have found some wonderful sites and items from other's opinions but I've also found that I might be the one out a 200 post discussion who may not like something. That's just how it is.

Working in an area myself (government) where others OFTEN think it is acceptable to be rude, condescending and/or abusive to employees, I just have to say thank you to everyone at TV for the quality they produce and speed of delivery. The amount of different personalities Geoff and Co. probably have to deal with on a daily basis is not something that many would want to put up with for long.

As I've been able to tell, you will never find a consensus on this forum who is the absolute best and although being able to hop on or dial up and receive instant gratification of concerns is awesome, it's not always possible. The money we spend (or don't spend) will always hold more sway than any abuse we spew at the business. I applaud him for coming on (more than once) to address concerns or issues and just wanted (in my too-long, soapboxy way)to say thank you to TV. For me personally, their juice has been the key to my continuing not to smoke analogs while dealing with the rude, unruly and condescending people at work!

Did you try rinsing them out and letting them dry overnight or blowing them out?

I just got a bad batch of attys. They are real joye 510 attys too. They were making some of my juices taste just awful. The resistance was the same as a standard atty too which was odd. I cracked open a new atty from a batch that I've had for a while and my juices taste great again.

I use TV liquids at least 50% of the time, and I have no problems with my atty's. Occasionally, they get a bit gunked up after a week or more, and are a little hard on the draw. When that happens, I rinse them with some rubbing alcohol (fill the atty, shake it, drain, repeat a few times), rinse with hot water, blow out the excess, and dry. Then, the atty is good as new. I have about 4-5 atty's that I rotate.

This is why I switched to cartomizers. They are cheap, never taste burnt, and for a buck or so, toss it out and grab and new one.

I have to agree the taste I always had with cartos was a bit off to me, some people seem to love them. I prefer to just drip. These are the first problematic attys that I've had since I started vaping. It happens.

When I get cartos I open them and pull off the caps and let them air out a couple of days....it gets rid of that smell/taste. I don't use them much as I mostly drip.

Never had a problem with Geoff's juices clogging or killing atties.
