Problems with cartomizers for tank

The first was a 1.5 dual coil on a regular eGo, the second was a 3ohm single coil at around 4.8v both from Smok.

Am I doing something wrong when I prepare my cartos for use with a tank? I drip about 30-40 drops in the carto until its coming out the bottom or it won't soak up more juice. I fill the tank with the primed carto in it. I wait a bit.

The last two cartos in a row keep getting a burnt taste after about 3 vapes. The first one I solved the problem just by sticking a thumbtack through the punch hole. Its not working with this one.


I've used this same filling method successfully with other new carts. I don't understand what is going wrong.

May have been the starter liquid that some have in them. Your volts to ohm rating should be fine. At 7.68 watts. I had one atty that had a defect the whole internal assy was pushed down too far. It did that and then burned out.

Lately there have been QC issues with Boge and Smok Tech cartos. Reports of foul taste, quick demise and tight draw after only 2 days. That's the reason I no longer recommend cartos...at least until they resolve this issue. This is how I fill my cartos- key when pushing carto down into condom of juice is to do it very slowly. 20 drops= approx. 1 ml.
