So I bought a premixed unflavored 60 mg-based nicotine I mix it with using the calculators it always turns out way too harsh am i doing something wrong I put in the base milliliter nicotine level as it asks for in the calculator and then I put my nicotine target level and it still comes out way too harsh I've been tried to dilute it to 30 mg nicotine level and try it again yet the same result just a little less harsh but not enough to compare with how smooth it is when you buy a premixed juice from the store Are these calculators not working properly? Or am I doing something wrong?

Yes maybe, I did realize lorann flavoring has a good amount of pg in it and I was going for a all vg mix but I tried it with 2 different flavor mixes and the only time I could take a good draw is when I Diluted it to about 30 mg nic, but with the same calculation. I should not have to diluted it at all if the calculator is working correctly right?

And thanks glad to be here

That is correct.

Why not try to make a small batch with no nicotine to eliminate that as a variable. It's hard to believe 6% is causing a problem, but we all have different sensitivities.

Yea, I would like to know where the nic base came from too and what color is it? I have learned over time that I avoid buying a nic base from a vendor that does not specialize in selling nic base as they tend to sometimes pawn off their older nic juice on you. At least that was the experience I had with one particular vendor I won't mention. lol.

Myfreedomsmokes not sure what the rules are about posting links but the color is clear 60mg vg base and I did make the same flavors without which were delicious And I was kind of excited to get the nicotine a couple days later after making such good tasting e liquid but..... Fail... I did read somewhere different brands may be harsher then others just more dissapponted then anything it was kinda like watching a really good movie with a ****ty ending

Make sure when you are mixing everything, that you use just the mls for measuring from your calculator and not the drops method of measuring. Using the drops for measuring is very inaccurate. Or if you put nic in using mls for measuring and then put drops in for measuring your flavor, that will also make the end result very innacurate. All measurements should be in mls and not drops.

Whick Lorann flavors are you using? When you add nicotine it can change the flavors. 20% is very high on the flavor side. I have used a lot of Lorann and some flavors are a lot stronger than others. The calc you have is giving the correct percents. I buy from MFS as well and have always had great products from them. You should email them and tell them of your problem. The mixer there will respond to you and he is very helpful.

Buy yourself a nicotine test kit, around $10 online. Test the base you have and see if the nic level is correct. With any large company there is always the chance of a mess up. You could have 100 mg nic base, and that is what is causing it to be so harsh. Blueberry from lorann is a very strong flavor, i use it around 10%, bubble gum I use around 10%-15%.
