I've had the TC40W for about 6 months, I use a T3S tank. I put a new atomizer in it and got a new base for the tank because one of the seals came off. Now my ecig says "atomizer short" and has a burnt and/or metallic flavor to it. How do I fix it? Many thanks!
Don't quote me, but the 40w iStick has a reliable spring-loaded 510 connection, except you are not using a traditional 510 tank.
If you have a 'short' I suspect the base of your T3S is screwed down/in too far, unless there is an unusual design for your eGo-510 adapter.
In truth, adapters are not ideal and 'mashing' a tank, an adapter and a 510 connection together can cause the +/- connections to get confused... sometimes the tolerances are so tiny with the circuit.
I enjoyed the T3S, but you should consider something purely 510; you'll also get better economy (value for money from the coils) from something like a mini Nautilus or Eleaf GS/GS air tank. I personally rate the GS tank (not the air) as it was designed for the iStick 40w, whereas a T3S is nearing dinosaur technology.
