Did anyone have an issue with the switch being really stuck on the mod when you received it? I can't twist it off to save my life. Any suggestions on what to do? And I'd want to upgrade the switch to a GP PAPS switch if I do manage to get that switch off. Are they compatible?

Metal will shrink slightly when frozen. Do you have a battery in it?

I've never heard of putting them in the freezer, wonder if it works?
Anyway, I hit mine with a hammer to loosen it up, but I don't recommend it. If it's brass or copper you might try rubber gloves to get a good grip on it.

Brass is a soft metal, be careful if you do that. Definitely use a rag or old sock or something to put over it.

Stingray and Paps use completely different threading. You can't take the switch from one and put on the other. The Paps use 20x1 threading. Don't know what's on the Stingray.
Whoops, sorry guys! There was an error in communication, I'm posting this problem for my little brother.. The real problem is the ring for the locking mechanism. It's the ring that won't tighten/loosen up. How can I resolve this? Hit it with a hammer? How should I strike it? 20% power 90 degree angle? Lmao
