Problems with USPS?

So every single vaping purchase I've made has been through them and had no problems, up until now.


My tracking number shows that my delivery date was Friday (today) and that it was still in transit. Despite the fact that my delivery date is the 19th, the actual package history hasn't updated at all, to show any city near mine. I placed my order about 8 days ago and it did say 5-7 days. Since mail runs on Saturday I'm really hoping to get it tomorrow, but I'm confused after even I got my mail for today, my transit hasn't changed, it still says the 19th.

Has anyone experienced this before?

Yes, for some reason their online tracking system fails to update even after 24 hours of the order being initiated into the system. I just click the option for email updates and hope for the best on up to the moment updates as they occur. I've had a few packages lately that never updated before I got the package. Funny thing is, once I get the package and go back to check the updates, it seems to update all the way to "delivered". But this has only been happening in the past few months. Hopefully they will remedy this issue soon.

I plead guilty to "vape mail impatience". But, having my vape mail 2 hours down the road (that's a 4 lane highway) yet taking 48 hours plus to get here (that does not include the weekend) contributes to that impatience. And we don't even have door-to-door delivery here.
Second that. My local postoffice is across the street. 100ft away. And it often takes them 2 days to deliver.
