Hey CaSHMeRe, I think it's funny that you use a Pilot. There are so many other great products out there. No offense to Pilot, but you might want to look into the Prodigy.

Joanna and I actually looked in to a raw diet for our SB's ... And we may still try and switch them. Kaylee has a REALLY hard time with any sort of grain. It goes through her VERY fast and reaks of death So, we actually have her and Camelot on a Grain Free food Called Orijen! Her poos have never looked better Not to mention, no allergies at all, and their coats are just amazing!!!

Merrick Pet Food, stuff actually smells "GOOD" if that was possible. Its taking NJ by storm and our Dog's run around now like they got Puresmoker 36mg menthol stashed someplace the reason we got the Mini Pinscher was because we needed a playmate for the 40 lbs keeshound ...yet did not want another damn dog really. So we settled on a 2 lbs dog ,that thinks its 100 lbs We got lucky and they love each other to death. only thing I hate is carrying that damn pink purse cage around...hurts my MAN VIBE

Good question ... I'm not entirely sure. What food do you have your GSD's on?

Haven't heard of that one !!! Talk about pricey ... Imagine how many 30 lb bags of dog food we go through a month! At $86 a pop, it ain't cheap!!!! Is blue buffalo sold more places? Orijen can only be found online, and if we do find it locally, its like 20-25% MORE than online.

lol.... The interesting thing (like tropic pointed out earlier) Raw and Grain Free Diets actually cut down on the size of the meal.

Our saints only eat about 2-2.5 cups PER DAY ... And have 1 or 2 nice poops per day. So, in the end you may be paying more, BUT, they are consuming half as much and should come out issue free! Check the k9cuisine site I posted a few posts up. LOTS of reviews with dogs with allergies!

the raw meat diet is A LOT CHEAPER you buy liver chicken backs and stuff like that real cheap in bulk freeze it thaw and serve = one happy MoMo plus I give him the Blue Buffalo treats to balance out his grains the only bad thing is he likes to eat in the living room so I have to stay in the kitchen while he eats to prevent any bad germs
