Glad it helped, I don't think the flat side has to be facing up, it just gets more surface area for the disc to make contact that way.

it did make a big difference in how mine is now easier to push and get contact, whereas before, I had to push hard to make a contact it seemed..Thanks, it has helped!

Well mine is still not firing as it should, someone on the other post mentioned turning the little posts up and having the flat side down so I am going to try that.
I am starting to think it is my atty post as I have a 510 one and it will not work at all with many of my attys. They work on the Xhaler but willnot fire at all on the V2.
Getting a little discouraged here, love the thing when it works, but just am not getting much enjoyment out of it at the moment.
Will post how the turning the flat sides down works out.

Finally, I don't know why, but this worked. My 901 adapter worked fine with my protege, but I couldn't get my 510 to work, except randomly. After I watched your video I took my switch apart again (for the 100th time) and turned the flat parts up. All of my adapters work great now and have been for a day and a half, and I don't have to set the adapter in a special place or put hard or anything. They just work.
I was ready to send it back, but I hated to part with it.
Thanks so much Johnny 5!! You saved the day!
