I'm hoping the same thing. Order number 24952.
I understand from another thread that the 3.7/6v (copper switch) is the default option unless you specifically requested the 5v option. Is that true?
Thanks!
I ordered one of each, and my questions is... how will I tell which is which?
The 5 volt switch's contact disc will be a grey color.
The 3.7/6 volt disc will be copper colored (because it's made of copper).
Hey Greg,
That is correct. 3.7v/6v was the default option. I have now since added options on the site so there is no more confusion![]()
Yup, some of the V1 switches should be arriving tomorrow sometime I'm hoping![]()

One of mine went straight on, the other I had to back of the adapter a little. Have you fooled with the mechanical switch before? I don't keep up ... You have to mess with how hard you push it and how it's lined up and whatever. The tightness of the adapter effects the alignment of the switch bits apparently. My 5V arrived today as well, but I can't get it to work.
Got mine today too, like I knew I would.. anyway, ripped out the old switch, threw it in a box and put the new one on. Fired up first time and been working like a champ since.
Thanks for taking the time to make these guys!
Question.. if I put a 18650 on, I'm assuming the voltage will drop on it as well? I'm sure I already know the answer, but just want to confirm..![]()
Got mine today as well. But the contacts are grey/steel colored, not copper. (I'm comparing the color of the contact on the button to the contact on the adapter, which is definitely copper/penny colored.)
But anyway, I'm using the 18650 battery and I swear it's hitting better than my old tact switch. So is it a placebo effect? or maybe the voltage doesn't drop much with that battery? or maybe I'm color blind?
I might pop my old RCR123a batteries in later to see what happens.
Steve - We're discussing this in another thread but wouldn't a copper contact ring in the V2 make it a 3.7 / 6v device?
