OK, I have a PureSmoker Prodigy V2 and the upper part of the brass threads are wearing out.
I can get a 510 atty in it, but it has to be screwed in ever so deeply.
My 510batt to 901 adapters are slipping.
If I screw the 901 adapters down just a little bit further, they stick (or grip threads).
I got ...... that the adapters for my Cartos kept falling out, so I screwed the adapter in a bit more, and left a gap in the carto/adapter rather than the carto screwed all the way in to the adapter... if you follow.
This is a pain so I just got a cart condom (the one with a ....-plug) and cut out the center, just enough to drop out the ....-plug and pressed it over the cart, down the 901 adapter, and over the brass 510 connector all the way down.
It is holding the 901 adapter fine for now (although I can see threads between the cart and smooth part of the adapter) so I can unscrew cartos, and screw them in and it is holding the adapter solid.
I know other people are having "Thread" problems with the V2, so I thought I'd throw this out there until you can get a replacement like I need, assuming you are using cartos with an adapter.
I hope this helps at least somebody until they can get a new V2 adapter.
