Too much government leads to them controlling ....
Not on the subject of e-cigs but the related subject of our Nanny State
wishing to control and regulate every single aspect of our lives.

First municipality in the country to ban the use of cell phones while driving.
Not just texting ... but ANY use of a cell phones ... including hands free devices.
Article with video: Click Here

NOTE: The National Transportation Safety Board supports the ban and is trying
to promote statewide cellphone bans in all 50 states.

EDIT:
A few years ago ... A friend told me "In the near future the Nanny State
will tell you what foods you can eat and can't eat"
I laughed

“The distraction is not holding the phone. The distraction is actually the conversation,” Rich said. “So just holding the phone is not what is making you drive poorly, it’s the conversation.”

Well, then, obviously they need to ban passengers from conversing with the driver, kids from acting up, and babies from crying. None of those are any less distracting than a hands-free phone conversion. Now that I think about it, they might be more distracting, as the driver often turns to look at the person talking, screaming, or crying.

The ban is on using a cell phone while driving ...
Including "Hands Free" devices.

Many cell phones have a GPS so that would be banned while driving.
Heck, many newer cars have GPS displays built into the dash with "audio".
Maybe it should be illegal to have the car's GPS turned on while driving.

What about banning listening to radios or a CD in cars ... Someone might
want to talk about what is on the radio or hear a song and start singing.

Auto companies could wire the radio and CD players so they can't be used
if the wheels are rotating.

What about banning all CB Radios?
Wait a minute .... Don't the police use CB Radios ???

There is no limits to what this country will ban

The article on banning cell phones while driving was released yesterday (April 13)
and as of this moment there's been 942 comments posted WOW
Oops Now its up to 945 ... LINK
:p
The comments are HILARIOUS
1 Example:
Maybe they should issue a piece of gum at the time of taking the driving test,
just to see if you CAN drive and chew the gum at the same time. Some will fail.

the police dont just use cb radios now but they also have a full computer set up in their cars facing them that they can get updates and check out information while they drive!
I'm sure the ban will not apply to the police and government officials
as well as many others which will be given a "get out of jail free" sticker
they will affix to the upper left corner of the front windshield.

Here is what will be a very popular "work around" for those who
choose not to turn off their cell phones when driving.
