See my avatar? That's me, really. :) Ok, I lied. If I were to post a real picture of me, everyone would be struck blind. There would be complete pandamonium - juice overflowing everywhere, people not being able to find atties, batts, mods, carts - you get the picture.

Second, I keep my information general and limited 'cause I live in a small town. No use getting the natives anymore riled up than I have.:p

Thirdly, in my previous life, I worked with some very "entertaining" people - like Rule 11 - quilty but criminally insane, gang bangers, stalkers, pedo's, killers, abusers, so I definitely don't want them to find me or my family.

Fourth or fourthly? Or is it forth/ly? There is a very slim chance that a family member might recognize me, hunt me down and ask to borrow money. Then I'd have to smack 'em upside the head and move.

So, if anyone wants to know about me:

I'm between 29 and 60 - holding on 29 for a few years.
I'm short and fat.
I'm nuts.
Hate lima beans.
Favorite colors are purple, blue and green.
Run with scissors
Military brat
I have hot flashes.

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

No one that I know is here because they think e-cigs are "cool". The people here either are smokers, who are trying to use the e-cig to quit, or were smokers who have quit smoking using the e-cig.

But... but... but...

As a diehard technophile I must take issue with this. Yes, I was a smoker, yes I'm using the e-cig to quit, and yes I figure I've been very successful. That doesn't deny the fact that to the gadget-lover in me, the e-cig is indeed one very, very cool piece of technology. That's actually the reason I started looking into them, and the reason I found this site. I wasn't aware of the health benefits, and had given up on trying to quit smoking. Then I saw this beautiful piece of hand-held, battery-powered pure technology, and the part of me that drools over sites like Engadget, Gizmodo, and Newegg instantly said, "I WANT!" (Surely I can't be the only technophile here who understands that feeling?)

Now, before you write me off, I am glad I switched. My lungs feel much better, my sense of taste and smell is slowly returning (I still can't taste menthol though...), and I love all the different flavours of liquid that I've tried. It's just that for me, the 'cool' was one of the reasons I made the change.

Let me add: I'm 37, smoked for over 15 years, only been vaping for two months, and lost my marbles a number of years ago. As for why no picture... lets just say I'm shy, and like to get to know a place better before I put a pic of myself up for public consumption. (Trust me, you may be better off not knowing what I look like. Heh.)

Wally World, Dollar General, Home Depot, Ebay

Sounds good - Lets kick back with a bottle of Heinz and talk Hotdogs !

What is it with men and hotdogs? My husband thinks hotdogs are the solution to all of life's problems:

Me: "I have a headache"
Him: "Want a hotdog"?

Me: "I'm sad today"
Him: "Want a hotdog"?

Me: "My left arm just fell off"
Him: "Want a hotdog"?

So recently, he said this while we were in public and I jokingly yelled "STOP PUSHING YOUR HOTDOG ON ME" and booooyyyyy did it get quiet in that store!!

I completely agree. I did not buy my first PV with any inkling that I was going to quit smoking, it wasn't even a consideration. I bought it as an interesting gadget. I was stunned when I quit almost instantly, after smoking for 35+ years.

But, not everyone is thinking of the technology when they consider whether or not vaping is 'cool' ... just want to make sure people who don't already smoke pick up vaping due to some ill advised conception that vaping is cool, groovy dude. :2cool: (I'm a little older than you are, heh)
