I gotta go do something before I finish catching up but just wanted to add that one town (city, county, whatever) once passed a law that made it illegal for married people, husband and wife, to have sex with each other. They didn't read the wording very carefully before passing it. The wording on this seems to be wide open to interpretation and they will be the laughing stock of the country if they outlaw people's inhalers.

There's actually a provision exempting FDA approved products intended for therapeutic use. So inhalers are safe, as would be flavored nicotine gum, and the quickmist if it were available. I also don't think they're going after flavorings themselves, you'll be able to buy TFA, you just won't be able to buy any liquid from a vape shop that isn't tobacco or menthol, which probably cuts out about 90% of e-liquids.

I like my tobacco flavors, but they are less than 10% of what I vape.

But ... we will be safe. Now can I be safe from an intrusive, abusive and avaricious government?

You just completely shattered my fantasy.

Absolutely not.

These proposed bills everywhere are insane. It's always such a knee jerk reaction without real information. The city I live in which is a small midwest town it proposing a smoking ban and including vaping. I was reading through the tons of comments on the website. The majority of those comments were pro vaping with people supporting it. Those against it were based mainly on the typical knee jerk "well, it looks like smoking so it is smoking"

If it weren't for ecigs I would still be smoking. My blood pressure is back to normal. I don't hack up a lung every morning. I no longer get winded so easily like I used to.

Every time you turn around there's a proposal to legalize ........., but take away ecigs? Drives me batty.

Here I live in the state where it wasn't Blg T or Big Pharma buying things up but Big Insurance! When the health care costs skyrocketed no thanks to them and companies either went belly up or relocated to the other states the next item was anti smoking since the insurance companies were the ones who ended up paying out. But the end of 2013 start of 2014 proposed ecig tax got shot down by the Governor himself. There wasn't any proof shown that ecigs were any health risk as smoking is!

Now keeping that in mind when a small MA town Westminister's own 3 ..... board of Who Haa attempted the nation's first total ban like San Franciso is now trying for the public meeting set up for Q&A went to H in a hand basket in a moment's notice! You may end up seeing people react loudly to being imposed on by stupidity! Massachusetts Town's Proposed Tobacco Sale Ban Meeting Ends Minutes After Starting | NECN

Nicotine increases the rate that adrenaline is produced being a stimulant much like caffeine. Get your morning Java yet? It can over a long time result in seeing hardening of arteries as does any number of other things cause one problem or another but is also FDA approved! How did you think Big T was able to get away for so long hiding the actual risks as well as spiking the works up!

Caffeine is in soft drinks as well as well as in all types of coffee and teas while many teas are also caffeine free. Eggplant, tomatoes, and a variety of other plants contain a natural level of nicotine to be found in them. Should we stop all pizza shops because they use tomato paste with their pasta sauces? Just think about the cooked dough patties in large circles with only peppers, anchovies, sliced meats, onions, etc. for a moment without any sauce type covering? You wouldn't like that much!

How about all that sugar to be found to be found in the processes meats and most everything else we buy out of the local grocery stores! Diabetes and obesity on the raise as many claim will end up killing more faster then greased lightning death b y food we eat there! There isn't too much to be found in this modern day and age still without any risks! Look at all of the plastics being dumped into the oceans around the globe! Proper disposal of used batteries of course helps not add to the pollution aspects.

This is all true. For group plans which don't require physicals, what test can insurance companies ask for in order to increase rates to reduce risk for them? Nicotine...
