Because I don't see lots of facts being slung around, only beliefs. A few of the folks in this thread are "assuming" that long termed usage may be bad. This of course is a "belief" and not a fact. Long termed smoking causes cancer (fact) , so what does long termed inhalation of PG/VG cause? I am assuming that the folks on this thread are using common sense which would indicate that "something" in the lungs should change. That something may be good or bad........... I personally (without facts) tend to lean towards the side of caution and I think that chronic use of PG/VG cannot be too great of a thing in large amounts and for long periods of time. Our lungs are clearly made to transport oxygen into the bloodstream not PG and VG...... While PG may be known to be nontoxic (fact) that does not mean that chronic and prolonged use of it (just like overeating) is not harmful.

So, my unproven assumption is that if people are going to vape (or anything else in life) then by using moderation then I believe lots of potential problems can be avoided.
Long term smoking always causes cancer?

And bad breath :)

I don't think the person you're responding to knows what cancers are.
Yep and so does garlic ejuice.
Regardless of what some think we are pretty much lab rats testing the effects of vaping.
Color me a happy lab rat :) Vaping beats the heck out of smoking.
And as I have said before I did not start vaping for health reasons anyway.

Some sources point to German hydraulic engineer Gotthilf Hagen.

This is true. Gotthilf, or Hilfy as he was know to his friends, was working on the next generation of hydraulically adjustable propellers for Germany's airplanes. One day, when he accidently mis-adjusted the angle of attack too leanly on the prop on one if his planes which resulted in terrible flight conditions, he flew through a cloud storm in Bavaria and managed to land before crashing. He discovered that the prop was covered in a thin, sticky liquid that when dripped on the exhaust and steamed tasted great and was much less disgusting than his Luftwaffe cigarettes. He named it Propylene (Prop Lean ) Glycol (Angel Tears) He abandoned his prop research and set up large propeller farms in the Bavarian Alps to harvest the delicious liquid (which to this day is where the best PG comes from). Unfortunately, it would be another 80 years before another inventor could figure out how to effectively vaporize the liquid without having to drip it on a hot muffler. In the mean time, Hilfy discovered a lot of other uses for it including keeping his planes ice free, keeping his colon free flowing, frozen custard and as a personal lubricant when the missus just couldn't get her mojo rising. Much is owed to Gotthilf Hagen but he will forever remain one of histories unsung heros.

Didn't bother all those cats and dogs either, until they didn't wake up...

Doubt it bothered them then either and Dog food has nothing to do with the Thread topic.
Once again you ignore what goes on right here in the US to promote personal dislike of China.

More or less 50% of long term smokers die of smoking related diseases? What do the other 50% die of and WHY didn't they die of smoking related diseases? :/
They were bored to death by discussions of why they are not dying of smoked-related diseases.

the PG and or VG in e-juice does not vaporize.
the water in the juice vaporizes and in turn atomizes the base much
like any hand pumped sprayer.
Here is your "theory" again. And again you are wrong. PG and VG do vaporize. Easily.

Depends? would those smokers have had lung cancer regardless if they smoked? Yes, smoking exacerbates the problem but does it cause it?
it obviously does not cause all of it, but lung cancer is not the only lung problem smoking does cause. A friend is in his last days in hospice from his lungs being shot from smoking. He did not work in any other risk factor areas or anything like that.
And there is also throat cancer aka esophageal cancer. Another friend is still suffering from that. Operation and a couple of rounds of chemo and still not good.

I wouldn't trust propaganda put about by Chinese companies and certainly wouldn't inhale anything they made...Sure it is relevant. They killed many, many pets, not due to negligence, but standard business practices...
