What are the caps?
IF the cap is not the tank and the cap is not the bdc, then what are you calling a cap? And what are you calling a bdc; if you clearly distinguish between the tank and the bdc then surely you see that the tank is not a bdc tank.

You think somebody in China won't make a coil to fit the Aspire ET "BDC" tank?

If you put a single coil atomiser in the Aspire ET or you redo your own coil but you don't wrap two separate coils just wrap 1 coil, you think that does something to the tank itself?

The Aspire pyrex tank is not a throwaway tank that is designed to get tossed in a few months; If Aspire starts making a triple coil for a new tank but it also works in the ET, do they then have to rewrite and call the ET "BDC" tank something else?

The Protank 3 was designed to use either a new dual coil, or the older single coil that fits on the other protanks; so what should the protank 3 be called a combo tank?

Have you used an Aspire BDC? I think you're misunderstanding. You can't use an Aspire BDC tank with any other coil nor can you use it's BDC for any other tank. This is not like the PT3 where you can use PT2 coils.

I'm using a PT2. The v3 uses dual coils, and IMO, dual coils just mean "twice as many places they can break". I haven't heard of any other advantages, and I see the dual-coils as a disadvantage, so I don't plan to try them.

I haven't tried a PT3 but my Aspire BDC produces much more flavor than my single coil PT2.

the Pt3 can use the same single coil that the Pt1 and pt2 use.

THATS MY POINT.

It is because they MISLABEL their product that some many of us misunderstand the product.

I am sure they would have sold alot more PT3s if people knew their old coils would work.

What Kanger did was they designed a new coil for it and marketed the package as a dual coil, but I keep hearing from users that they can take the old coil too.

I buy my atomizers at my local vape shop. When the v3 came out, they told me they had it, and that the biggest difference was the dual coils. I asked if it would use the same coils I was using with my v2, and they told me no, that you needed the new atomizers.

Even assuming you are right, and that you can put the old single coil atomizers in the v3, if I do that, do I gain anything from the v3? As far as I know, you don't. In which case, I may as well keep using the save v2 I have now and the same atomizers I'm using now.

If Aspire makes a single coil atomiser next week and puts it in an "Aspire BDC tank", is the "Aspire BDC tank" no longer an "Aspire BDC tank"?

The only thing I read about the protank 3 is they say there's no glue.

Found the text on kangertechonline:

The Kanger Protank 3 offers the same great features and much better performance as the Kanger Clearomizers but with the introduction of a glass tank! The Protank 3 is also 510 threaded and will work on a 510 threaded MOD without the need for an adapter.

Updated in Kanger Protank 3:

Dual coil
Stronger base
Pyrex tank is replaceable
Glue Free: All parts are replaceable
Can be fitted with 510 Drip tip
Features:

Replaceable Atomizer Heads (interchangeable with Protank 1 and EVOD)
Bottom Coil
Pyrex Glass Tank
Advertised with a 2.5ml capacity
Unlike other Kanger Tanks, the Protank is 510 Threaded and it will work on 510 thread MOD/APV without the need for an adapter
Dimensions: 1-15/16"L x 3/4"D (without drip tip)
Tips:

Maybe it's just a mistake because it mentions protank 1 and evod, but does not mention protank 2

or

Maybe the space is bigger to accomodate the bigger dual coil head and the older coil will fit because the long top will go up in the tube, you'd just want to add a second silicone cap as a spacer to seal it; b
ut the dual coil would be too big to fit in the older tanks.

So the consensus is the Davide tank is significantly better? What is the difference between the Davide and the Aspire? Since it seems users of the Protank like these units better, could someone offer their opinion of the Davide compared to the Aspire?

Anyvape Davide Glassomizer BCC 3.0ml w/ 2 Coils - CLEAR [gv-AnyVapeDavide-CLEAR] - $18.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

Aspire Vivi Nova BDC GLASS Tank

I assume these are the units that are being discussed. The Davide looks like it comes apart completely for easier cleaning. But the Aspire in black will look awesome with the black eVic. I might snag one of each for a goof, but the goal is really to buy a few of one tank and keep them loaded with my juices for the day. I like to keep 3 tanks in rotation over the course of the day. Sorry for the n00bish questions, but frankly I am a n00b.

I know it is all subjective, but if the majority likes one over the other I am comfortable with the purchase.

Theres some called
Aspire Davide
and some called
Anyvape Davide.

I don't know clearly the differences in them and you have to be carefull there are more than one models.

The reason we are talking about them is they are also BCC (bottom coil changeables) pyrex like the kanger protanks.

Now I am pretty sure a couple of them use the same or compatible atomiser as the protanks.

I've love to have an Anyvapes, a Aspire, and a Kanger all using the same coil; after a few months I would know which one to buy a couple more of.

Personally, I've tried all of them and the PT2 still is the best in my opinion. Neither the BDC or PT3 seem to offer enough of an improvement in flavor to justify their higher coil cost. The Kanger single coils can be rebuilt to improve their flavor over either of the stock dual coils while using less power for less money. The Davide is large and offers capacity improvements over the PT2 but I prefer the PT2's size and better build quality. Drives me nuts having the drip tips fall out of my Davides.

Davide Glassomizer

This anyvape davide glassomiser sure looks like it takes a similar atomiser as the protanks.
