Protank II issues.. what now?

Hey all, I know I saw a thread somewhere here regarding gurgling and leaking of the protank II and I did a search and can't seem to find it now.. I hadn't read the thread so I don't know what the answer was to the issue.

My issue.. newish wick (about a week old) and it has started to gurgle, it seems to leak sometimes and the hits are weak. I changed the wick set up thingy because the last one was gurgling and not as effective as when it was new. (That was after I had used it for about 1 1/2 weeks.) The gurgling is annoying to say the least, and often times if I try to get a good TH I end up with some juice in my mouth. (okay that sounds like a really bad porn line.. ) BUT I don't know what I am doing wrong here.. I use juice that is banana based and I know that it can be really, really hard on plastic tanks but can it also be really hard on the wicks which is the cause of my issues here?

I have read about dry burning, do I just need to do that along with some good cleaning? (not sure even how to do that.. or even what I am supposed to clean.. ) Sorry if this is all redundant, but I did try to find the answers before posting this.. I swear!!

If you are getting gurgling with both an old and a new coil, and if you draw hard enough you can get juice to spit up the vent tube, there has to be a common problem here.

You aren't by any chance removing that silicone "cap" that fits over the vent tube on the coil?

I really hate to say this, but the protank has been one of the worst purchases I have made during my vaping career. It leaks, gurgles, tank drains, and get juice in my mouth.

This has been all been right out of the box. I have tried new heads, rebuilt heads, cotton, silica, q tip, and yarn. I just rinsed mine out for the last time tonight and added to the scrap pile.

Its a shame to because they look really nice and have a great build. I really wish I could just get the thing to work.

Funny thing is I have less trouble with 2$ clearos than this 10x more expensive beautiful looking piece of machinery. This is a pt2.
