AW *used* to make protected RCR2's...I could PM you his addy if you want to get in touch with him and enquire if he would be interested in making up a batch.
He's an easy guy to deal with and would probably say yes if he's not too busy.
Yeah, finding the AW's are going to be hard if he's no longer making them or not willing to make more. The batch he had previously made were only 300mAh, but better than nothing...
AW makes superior type batteries for different applications.
You can do a search on google for aw batteries to see links. He is on a forum that icant mention here on ecf.
I have not found any CR2 protected cells. Also, I have never had a problem with the currently available unprotected cells. My only beef with CR2's are they do not last nearly as long as they should and the mAh ratings appear to be inflated. I can burn up a pair of CR2 Ultrafires in three months.
Hey, this may be a noobish question, but what is the difference between a CR2's and CR123a's? I just got my RCR123a's in the mail, and I've seen CR2's in the local CVS, and they look pretty much the same to me... But I'm an idiot, so...
The CR2's are slightly smaller cells, kind of like an AA vs AAA. Internally they are the same chemistry, just a smaller size for smaller applications (such as the BB in this case)
is there any way the BB might have a longer sleeve option so that we could use two protected cr123a batteries? This would make me the happiest nicotine user alive.
