Cash,

I have another 801 device that I currently use while at my PC - my Protege' is reserved for my long commute.

This other device has a cross-cut '+' for the center batt post that allows airflow thru the 801 attys bottom hole and the vapor from this setup is great.

Wondering if you could possible introduce a similar feature for your 801 Protege' adapter?

I already use the 4-hole attys but this center hole action really seems to be the key.

I haven't tried anything like a controlled or formal test, just going off my experience between devices and standard 801 PC passthru which is very hard draw even with the 4-hole attys.

I have noticed a fair amount of water does come thru that hole when I rinse my attys out so I gotta believe it's a direct shot from that hole to the bottom of the ceramic cup and then to the base of the coil itself. Or, maybe the air flows up, around and thru the mesh that surrounds the ceramic cup.

If you had some scrap parts and time perhaps you could quick rig a trail to let some air thru that and see if the results are worth a formal offering.

Free guinea pig here :)
