You tried RS Spares for push to make switches.
I used to work in an engineering background and we used to get most of our microswitches from RS.
Bear in mind our use for them would be 300 or so activasions per minute for 12 hours a day, and they would last for months.

thanks for the link dude.. i am beginning to think its a hard part to buy on line.. more the kind of thing thats needs to be picked up and felt.. RS should have something suitable.. a bit tooo pricey to risk buying some just to try thow.. he he
but a nice action switch will break or break the thing.. it needs a lot of pressing duringa days use... he he
