Is Futura actually shipping product at this point?

I’ve popped back into the Futura thread every once in a while. People are getting them. Some are pleased; others not so much due to problems with fit and finish, 510 connections and the occasional rocker switch. While I really do hope NexGen can turn things around since I think we all benefit from made in the US devices, I’m also very glad I cancelled my order.

Ordered the current gen xpv dna20 model blacked out. I'm thinking, after seeing the tear down earlier in this thread, that at some later date I can get a dna30 board and replace the 20 if I feel I need to. :) I'm pretty handy with a soldering iron...

That's what I was thinking, but 20 watts should hold me over.....

Looks like I'm gonna have to pick up a mini when the DNA30 version is available. I'm a cyclist and would love that belt clip option. I plan to get the 510 only version but was wondering if those screws scratch your atty when you screw them in?

BTW, does anyone have an all black Mini w/ 510 only version they can post a picture of? With a KFL+ if possible. With some size references too? I would greatly appreciate it.

Edit: Never mind, I found one earlier in the thread.

Does anyone know if the adjustment wheel on the XPV supports the DNA30's power lock mode?
I don't think it will. Power Locked mode is entered by holding both the Up and the Down buttons for for two seconds, and I don't see how that would be possible with the XPV's rocker wheel. However, as jameth already said, the XPV's recessed wheel seems pretty effective at preventing unintentional changes.
