Has anyone that paid for their order on or around February 25th received a shipping notification yet?
I'm literally going crazy waiting I just want my damn XPV already! I have the worst patience haha starting to have dreams about it coming in the mail

LOL, ElectronicStix.com took the ZNA off of their website and "moderated" comments on their FB page. This makes me happier about getting the XPV.
Between that and the Hana preorder debacle I feel the same way!
I love my XPV and dont have to worry about hitting the up down buttons or getting it scratched up like some others out there.
Man. I think I'll just have to wait until one of these DNA30 devices is stocked as a "regular" item somewhere.
I just don't have the nerves to deal with having that much money go "poof" and then sit around hoping
what I paid for actually shows up.
I got burned kinda bad a few years ago when I was part of a group buy for the last run of Pioneer Elite plasma televisions.
Even though I paid for it with a CC through paypal, LOTS of crazy stuff resulted in me waiting about 3 months for a
television. Loooong story......
I just don't have the nerves to deal with having that much money go "poof" and then sit around hoping
what I paid for actually shows up.

When I ordered I didn't get charged till it shipped. Just authorized. Cant say for sure if their new site does that still.
I ordered from the new site and it charged me right away.
At least we are dealing with the manufacturer and not a middle man who "hopes" to get stock in to fill the orders taken. I feel like PV has been pretty transparent about the lead times and providing updates almost daily. Says more than most.

It looks like a charge, does it process or drop off eventually? After 4 days it vanished from my transactions until it shipped and "charged" again.
Hmm. Now I need to check. To be honest I ordered and purposely tried to forget about it so I haven't really checked.
Nope. Just checked and payment was confirmed at the time of my order and it was posted to my account a couple days later. The charge never came off.
They are charging when ordered to prevent any problems occurring due to the proposed legislation re: ecig taxation in Hawaii. They posted the following on their website:
We have decided to keep ordering ongoing regardless of how long the lead time gets, and simply report the estimated lead time as accurately as we can. We have decided this because of potential upcoming legislation in our state that could apply a large excise tax to future orders. Orders already paid for represent completed purchases, so the pricing would be locked in.
This means that lead time is likely to get longer and longer, possibly into what we could consider excessive numbers. But doing things this way will mean that, should legislation hit us hard, we will be able to continue operating for some time should demand drop precipitously.
Should the legislation fail, or settle upon a level of regulation that should not threaten our future demand, we will likely shut down ordering for a time to catch up on orders and reduce the lead time.

Mine was ordered on the 20th and i never checked but i seen later the charge cleared the 24 but i didn't have a long lead time.
Anyway finally got my XPV after missing a delivery and not being home to sign. Let me just say i can't put it down. This thing is amazing. I have never bought a DNA or any high end device in the past. Closest thing to it was a SVD. For anyone out there who is on the fence about it just get it i guarantee you wont regret it. I know this was said before it is lightweight and smaller than it looks in pictures but i was still surprised. I'm so happy with it i totally regret giving protovapor a hard time. With what i know now i'm not surprised how backed up they are on new orders now. This thing is super comfortable to hold and the clicky button and rocker are awesome. I think the black looks sweet and won't look awkward no matter what i put on top of it. Plus it came fully charged, bonus! For the money i gotta say this is about as good as it gets. For anyone waiting don't worry its worth the wait. Hana who?

well said.. If i didn't already have one Id get another... I'm sold... great device.. I wouldn't wait long to order..
Oh yeah mine did cuz I paid for express shipping. It came priority 2 day that requires signature and has insurance
