I might add that the only issue I have had was I took my primary XPV out of my pocket the other day and sat it on a table. It fell off and I picked it up and sat It back down, it fell off again. One of the screws on the bottom had backed itself out almost all of the way. I may take them out one at a time and add some Teflon tape or low strength loc tite.

Yeah I just want to add i've had mine for almost a month now and i've never had any problems with it. The o-ring has been working fine and my 510 connection always makes contact with my atties. I guess just certains ones have this problem.

The only issue that I have it with is the Soldado atomozer, which has a huge center pin that jots past the 510 connecter. I think it puts too much pressure on the center of the female side of the 510 for the o-ring to handle. All my other attys either have a flat 510 or not as big of a center pin.
I think that issue is more of a design flaw of the Atty image.jpg

My Tobecco KFL clone was similar, though not as bad.

I took a metal file to it and ground it down to be flush with the 510, problem solved.

The center pin of a 510 should NEVER stick out like that, and WILL damage mods if your not careful, not just the XPV.

Hey Rossum;
Did the piece of rubber I sent you do the trick? It may have lost some of it's sticky? Pics? If using it?
I believe the piece of rubber arrived in PA, where I had expected to be around the time it arrived, but my plans changed and I've remained in hiding from the crappy weather up north, so I haven't actually seen it or installed it, and for this I apologize.

If it loses its stickiness, I'm not worried, I'll use some kinda glue. :D

Yea that Atty has its permanent home on the Nemesis where the adjustable center pin makes the 510 connector a non issue and looks totally awesome

Hi Guy`s, anybody have an idea as to what is causing all my atties to show 0.00 ohms on the XPV? Only noticed it today, they all fire ok and the resistance of them has been checked on an ohms tester so I know they are all ok.
That's a known bug in the DNA. Not sure what condition triggers it. To fix it, you have to reset the DNA. Fastest way is to unplug your battery for a few seconds. See picture in the post above yours.

Just curious: Is yours a DNA-20 or a DNA-30?

So it shouldn't be too hard to replace the VTC4 with a VTC5 as long as my soldering skills are up to par?
I would think so, yes. Being able to unplug the battery like that means you can do your solder where you have plenty of space to work and you're not soldering a live connection -- unlike for example, swapping out the battery in a VaporShark DNA. Personally, I have no desire to replace the 2900 mAh Panasonic in my 20 'cause that battery is awesome. :D

I'm thinking about asking the guy at protovapor if he will send me a presoldered VTC5. I know he will send new batteries when the one inside dies so i'm hoping he will do the same with a VTC5.
