Starting to get that itch...no, not that itch.

The past couple of days, a few times I thought to myself, "Hmm, I wonder where they're at in the queue?" and "Damn, I'm gettin sick of my mech mod, I'll be so happy when my XPV gets here, hehehe!" Yes, there was schoolgirl gigglin.

I prolly have a couple weeks still until I get my shipment notice, but hey, it'll be worth it. :D

Haha true! I do work for an aerospace company so I'm sure I could get one of our electrical technicians to do it for me:)

Yeah I used one of the super high powered irons at my office. The key is keep contact as short as possible to not heat up the battery.

Its really clean in there, just go slow and carefully. I forget what the tape is called, but it's the almost transparent amber electrical tape designed for high temperatures...

The tape is called "Kapton".

Yep that's it. I'm horrible with names, hah!

With the VTC5 I have basically added another two hours to my average run time. Easily get thru a whole day when running my dripper / kayfun rotation (25w-12w)

Really great!

That's kick .... Although I guess I should wait till the battery hits end of life before changing it.
