So has anyone taken the provari on a plane? I don't mean to use while in flight, but for use on the other end of the flight? Did it get any looks at the security checkpoint? What about tanks and the liquid inside? I know they restrict liquid to certain amounts... also, any issues with batteries?

They were really examining my Ego once... so just curious.. would hate to get something this high priced confiscated.

Last fall I took a flight out of T.F.Green to DC. I had a couple 15 ml bottles of juice that I put inside a plastic baggy with my other liquids (shaving cream, toothpaste, mouthwash) which went into the plastic tray and through x-ray with my carry-on stuff. I put my 18650 batteries in another baggy, same thing - through x-ray with carry-on. My PV was a homemade Eclipse Tin mint mod (3.7 volt) which was inside my carry-on bag. Basically everything field-stripped and in separate bags.

Got through check-in without a second look. Opened up and put my PV together and stealth vaped in the terminal waiting for my flight out but didn't use it on the plane, very crowded. Return trip, same baggies, etc. through check-in no problem. Put it together in front of many at the gate and just put it in my shirt pocket without vaping. Plane was half empty and dark (night flight) so I stealth vaped on the flight back to T.F. Green.

If I had to do it again, I would probably take my homemade 5 volt mod instead of my Provari. Would not want to take any chance of losing her for any reason!

By the way, are you near my location in MA?

Hi shortstuff116, thanks for the reply. Actually, we are very close. Until recently I was from Bridgewater MA, but I recently bought a house in Woonsocket, RI.. just over the border from you. Nice to know there are more vapers nearby for emergency needs....lol

Hello everyone.. I lived in Thailand for 7 years with my wife and we flew all over Asia to be exact we went to: South Korea,Malaysia, Japan, Cambodia,Laos, Taiwan, mainland China and Hong Kong... and 5 trips back and fourth from the USA.. most times they would ask what it was.. I would say "Electronic Cigarette" take a big draw and show them, they never did nothing except had me send it through the scanner and a couple times they asked and I said what it was they were like oh ok lol.. only thing to be careful with is the amount of liquid you bring as if it is over the amount you can bring on the flight they will make you throw it away.. thats it.. other than that your all good to go
