David at Provape offered to swap for an entirely new unit, and said my wife would not have to send hers back until the new one arrives. He even offered to swap it with version 2.0 if she could hold out for about 3 weeks. Crazy thing is she did not want to jump on that offer, what a kook, that's my wife.

She obviously does not see it as much of a problem, and David also mentioned it will probably get better over time if it's the plastic button cover catching the body, the body will slowly work the button down until it no longer catches.

Just wanted to clue the unknowing world in on the awesome customer service at Provape!

Well, I can't break the almighty forum rule about posting email contents, and don't want to give away any manufacturer secrets, so I'll just say the words, safety - circuit- and integration. I don't believe there will be any cosmetic changes, but I don't know that for sure. I think if he was offering a different looking PV to my wife then he would have mentioned it.

So I have posted my initial reactions in the Provape1 announcement thread in the suppliers forum, however, I wanted to add some comments here as well.
I cannot say enough about the commitment to customer service from David and the crew at Provape!!! I pre-ordered my first unit from Provape and did not know what to expect. I have used a few of the lazer mods, the 901 and 510 PT's, and a Chamelon. I cannot say enough about the the PV1!!! While it does not have the overall HV capabilities of the Chameleon, this is a fantastic everyday unit. It vapes more like the 5v 510 PT than it does the standard 510 or 901 3.7 units, impressive because this unit is itself a 3.7v PV. I have both the 901 and 510 adapters and could not be happier with the performance of this unit.
Now coming back to customer service. As stated before I pre-ordered this unit and got one of the initial run devices...the PV1 worked like a champ for about a week and then boom....it was constantly firing and I could not do anything to make it stop, this was not a sticking button issue just something bizarre.... I communicated with Dave and he got a new unit out straight away for me. The second unit worked like a champ again for about a week and then died after a battery change, this time nothing would happen. I communicated with Dave and true to form he offered to shoot another one out without hesistation or irritation. We talked back and forth via email and he noticed I was in Las Vegas. For those of you who know Vegas, aside from being hot, is extremely dry. Also in the spring we have some pretty heavy winds. David, with his "sherlockian" deduction skills theorized that there could be a problem with static. This is a huge problem in Vegas, in fact I had to tear out all of my carpet and replace it with wood and tile becuase you could not move two steps without shocking the hell outta yourself. David and his crew made some modifications and got my third unit out to me. I can say that this seems to have resolved the problem. I have wandered around in my best static producing slippers and this new unit is not missing a beat!!
I was hesitant in writing this issue up because I did not want to scare anyone away from the PV1 as I managed to burn through 2 of them in 2 weeks. I decided however that it would only be the only way to show the dedication that the Provape crew has for their product and customers. I cannot reccomend this device enough for those not looking into HV mods. This unit is durable, good looking, and performs unbelievably well.

Bravo Provape and David!!!!!

Sincerely,

Swipple

yeah I just recently received my provape PV1, overall its great. really quality piece.
The beginners kit is a decent deal wit all I need. the flavors included are decent but I also ordered some from e liquid planet. I'm not used to such a high quality e-cig/vaporizer, i used these gas station disposable e cigs. The battery life and hit is supreme.
its an experience like no other, sometime the vapor tastes like hookah smoke. the 510 atomizer seems right well paired with the unit. great overall.

I, too, got the provape 1. Its been great until today when the batteries stopped recharging. i dont know what to do!! I used every common sense idea with the batteries and charger supplied in the starter kit. whats up with the charger? the light always turns red when I put a dead battery in the slot and it gradually turns green but now it just stays green the whole time, no charging of my batteries. what should I do?

Oh man that sucks. Especially if you don't have a backup charger.

Can't find anything about coverage on the chargers on their website but I would shoot David a message and ask him about it just to see.

I just received another order from provape. Those guys are great! I got a variety of accessories, including LR Attys and Cartos, 'Drip Tip', and Projuice.
I am satisfied to say the least about the quality and speed of shipping, all around service from ProVape.
It has helped me to quit cigarettes in style and elegance. All my friends become curious and intrigued of my PV and I always send them to the site.
I would do a review on some of these products, but I feel it would be redundant. Not a problem yet with any of my equipment and accessories.

Peace
