I'm sure there's more to the story and while I'm very happy DB got the ProVari, I'm finding it a bit distressing that someone had to give up equipment for some juice.

Since I have been on this forum you are the third person that I know of to get gifted a ProVari...
Cbrite got a new one, I got a slightly used full sized black 2.0 with blue led from klee1650 and now DaBucs gets a slightly used 2.5 from Kent Brooks.

I could have used it today at golf. Shot two over on the front and way over on the back . . .
I shot 4 over on the first hole today! Beautiful weather, terrible golf... Was thinking about playing some golf while we're in Honolulu. Any suggestions?

Just noticed you're in Orlando. I lived there for about 22 years around Altamonte Springs. Everything seems to be changing every time I go down to visit now... except the heat and humidity. Man, I don't know how I survived for so long down there.

I like our 2weeks of winter lol...summer sucks...its already starting to be close windows and crank a/c time....still getting a couple day of having open windows though and enjoying em will I still can haha....yea if I haven't said it summer sucks...cept at the beach or pool, then its ok

or just stick around NT. But regardless. These three subs are pretty special. I once owned a Provari and the peeps are special. But I'm a botton feeder Susan W. and Kent Brooks, if either of you know the person who fell on hard times PM me, we might have a way to help them at another place.
It's a bit pricey for out-of-state golfers, but you may try to check if there are any package deals through your hotel or online.
Koolau' should be dry by the time you get here. Royal Kunia' has nice views of the West side. If you're military/DOD Kaneohe Klipper. We normally play at a Muni', 'cause we're cheap.

My wife won't even think about taking a trip down from May-August because of the heat. I don't think she realizes that the summer is actually more like April-November. I think I remember a Christmas day that was over 95 one year. But I do miss the beach sometimes.

I used to play anywhere in Orlando because golf is so cheap down there and because I had friends who had friends, but we only play muni's here in VA also -- and twighlight rates at that most of the time. Golfnow does have some good deals, though.

Quite a few nice courses on Maui and the Big Island too. Does your wife play? It could get more expensive if you're out playing and she's shopping . . .

Yup, if I play, she'll be playing. That's probably the only reason she'd spend all day walking around at this point being 5 months preggo.
