I opened a ticket at ProVape, asking them to clarify this rumor, both here and on the official ECF thread. Now we wait....
An extremely reliable source has received word from ProVape that this rumor is false. That's all I know for now...

Ah, that's too bad, but I suspected it was too good to be true.An extremely reliable source has received word from ProVape that this rumor is false. That's all I know for now...
Why? .....
Do I really need to say why?

I would have LMFAO if it WAS true....![]()
Welp, ladies and gents, we can all put the rumour to bed. John is correct that it was simply a false rumour.
I have it on the highest authority that there is no 30w P3. The information was given to me explicitly earlier this evening by none other than someone who is with Provape, Monster Kenny.
Nite nite, rumour.![]()

Yep - I've also received word directly from another ProVape employee. Rumor is dead Jim, dead Jim, DEAD!
Personally I would post this question directly to Provape on their support page.
Although they are letting the B&M' sell them first, they are still the manufacturer and can validate any performance claims; or is there any literature with the betas stating such?
Being a Provari 2.5 owner of 4 units I have a problem with jumping up and being an unpaid field tester of their product which is essentially what Provape and the dealers are doing.
I have used one, held it, played with it, and it reminds me of new software, or even hardware.
When the first 1 TB hard drives were released to the public everyone had to have one, only to find out that they had some issues, be it the manufacturer replaced the drives when they failed, you still lost your data.
The very reputable company offered no remediation unless the units totally failed, yet they improved and redesigned them to overt this issue in later production.
(The prices also dropped some; imagine that)!
Same with new model automobiles the first year a new model is offered for sale from any manufacturer.
A close friend of mine is a Lincoln / Mercury / Ford technician; when the Lincoln LS first came out it had like 126 running wiring changes in the first year of production, it was one of the biggest pieces of junk, especially being a luxury car. After the first couple years it was a good, dependable auto....
(See my point here)?
I may buy a P3, but not until Provape offers them direct and they have been out a year or so....why should I beta test their device on my dime?
beta models will be able to get upgraded to new version of software that is being used.
As Kat indicated earlier, it came from a Provape employee (MonsterKenny) that it would NOT happen. I have to trust that he knows what he's talking about.
