I think that when my new zenkote arrives I will recondition the old Provari. I was thinking of sanding of all of the old black finish to expose a brushed satin stainless steel exterior. Were the engraved design and name are will still have the old black finish. I think the black engraved design will look pretty cool on the stainless steel body. Oh of course I will re-seat the top head.
Wht do you all think of my proposal? Or sould I let it just show it's age with pride?

Here's an approximation of what it may look like with the majority of the finish removed (obv this one is red), leaving only the engravings with color.

Thanks for the picture of your once red Provari. I think I am going to do it to my black one when the new one arrives. I really like the look you created there.

Not actually mine (unfortunately), remembered seeing it posted on ECF awhile back and went digging. Thought it looked nice when the original person(unable to find SN) posted it.

Hey Stu, take a look at the following links if you are serious about the project. The first is a ProVari disassembly video:
Provari Disassembly - YouTube

And a link to a thread about re-surfacing a ProVari:http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provape/573440-sanding-method.html#post13425090
They look pretty cool with the color just in the depressed areas. I kind of like the well used look that your has taken on!
