Wow, I didn't know that "defensive" and "sensitive" can be labeled as insults. These terms are used frequently in the corporate I work for (no native English speakers, but English was chosen as a company language to be easier to communicate between the 3 countries in which we have centers). If they were not politically correct I am sure the ethics people would have mentioned something.

In any case, I would like to apologize, and if requested, I will remove them from my posts.

Sorry I got prickly, too.

NO worries, Phorumph. We are good. I am leaving now, anyhow. See you around and good luck finding the right mod for you at the right price.

Happy vaping.

EiW is correct, if people don't like Joye prices then they can buy another product. It's like iPhones are the same price everywhere, but the competition is not between an iPhone from store A or from store B but between eg. An iPhone and a Samsung.

Now if Apple and Samsung agreed to sell their flagship product at the same price, then that would be price fixing.

My job is as a buyer for an large corporation and we have to do annual competition law courses and tests.

I concede. Now that I read the definition, I remember it's a conspiracy. So we were both using the term incorrectly, but the sentiment was the same. I should take the hit for this one, English is my first language.

I appreciate your review as I am looking for a built-like-a-brick-poop-house device. Currently, aside from my beginner Ego batteries, I have a MVPv2, X6, and a V3 mech mod. My wife uses a iTaste vv3 and has no interest in devices like I do. I've watched plenty of Provari vs Xyzpdq videos. Generally Provari wins, sometimes it doesn't.

My main issue is cost effectiveness. Roughly speaking, I can get four MVPv2's for the price of a Provari. Five MVPv2's if you include extensions, tanks, and special batteries.

Sure, the Provari will last me 2+ years, but do I really want an electronic device that lasts that long? Look at e-cig advances within the past 2 years. What advances are in store for us in the next 2 years? Will Provari introduce something new and uber advanced within a few months after I slap down two-hundred plus dollars?

I'm still on the fence.

True is what you say, but, the MVP will never vape at 15 watts. Which is where I find the most enjoyable and juicy vape experience. If I had had bought an MVP, I would of never known, since it maxes out at 11 watts.

Besides, once the battery is dead in the MVP, it's dead. It's just an overgrown ego disposable battery. After the 5 egos, I mean MVP's have died and been thrown in the trash, the Provari will still be kicking.

And in the 2 + years of owning the Provari, if provape makes a major improvement it the circuitry, they will let me know and offer to upgrade my Version 2.5 to 3.0. Yeah, that's the little extra that comes with being a member of Club Provari.

It's not the best thing to call someone, even though strictly by the definition it would be accurate.

Defensive - this says it better than I can

1.
used or intended to defend or protect.
"troops in defensive positions"
synonyms: defending, protective; More
(in sports) relating to or intended as defense.

2.
very anxious to challenge or avoid criticism.
"he was very defensive about that side of his life"
synonyms: self-justifying, oversensitive, prickly, paranoid, neurotic

When you call someone "defensive" it sort of dismisses any point they were trying to make by inferring they are emotional/irrational...that sort of thing.

Mais bien sûr, c'est necessaire pour commander les e-liquides ! mais au maximum de 18mg disponible.
But of course, it's necessary to order e-liquids - but max 18mg available.
Also not bad Dutch, a little Welsh and Arabic - good vocabulary but lousy grammar in all of them !

UK! English, but worked for US company for 17yrs so just roll with the differences in spelling although still like to verbalise al-oo-minum when I see it - small things amuse small minds, I think somebody or other said...

Rats. There are these mods in France I have been coveting for almost a year, but I can't tell if he made them as art pieces or if he actually sells them.

ETA: Sorry, wasn't directing the rats at you personally. I'm sure it's wonderful to be English, but I lose all reason when I think of these mods.

I apologize for going off topic. May I PM you daved123 to inquiry if you might be able to contact a French modder about some gear to complement my ProVari?

That's where I actually have a problem with suggesting a Provari to someone new. It tends to take the "experimentation" out of the process. I think if a Provari had been my first real PV, I may very well have never advanced beyond the very basic heads that were available at the time. We learn at least as much from our failures as we do from success.
Yes I know that wouldn't be true for everyone, but it would be for some. My fear has always been "product obsolescence". For example my favorite atomizer has become somewhat dated, and I could easily see why Joyetech would choose to stop producing it. That wouldn't be any fun if it was the only way I knew how to get a nice vape.

I absolutely agree. I was vaping for a few months before I even got a Twist. During that time I learned how to drip and adjust the power buy changing resistances - all kinds of useful goodies. When my 6 months tobacco-free date approached I started looking at mods. At that point I had a firm grasp of what they did and what I wanted out of a device. I think I appreciated the ProVari more since I had something to compare it to. I don't regret anything I have purchased, but I also took it slow. eGo, then Twist, then ProVari (Now I have shiny toyitis, but I'm not counting that). It seems to me that many of the folks who complain about how much money they spent on junk, did buy junk. But that was their choice.

LOL, Well from one noob to another, Awesome... Just awesome, I wasted no time in buying my Provari and I love it, kinda laughed a little as my first complaint was the packaging too... Also watched all the same videos!

Then I got it home, got the batteries charging up while I read the "Distructions" online... Soon as I put the battery in and took my first vape I forgot all about that box it came in!

    Awesome review!!!
